be careful with the light that close... what kind of light is it?
potassium can be found easily on amazon.

the only reason I suggest transplanting is because, you want something to fatten it up...
you arent feeding it..and if you add potassium...why not add it to the soil?

you should read up on soil additives... straight soil sucks.
many people add things like:

peralite
vermiculite
(^^^both very important)
worm castings
potassium
bat guano

the list goes on and on....

you wont get much root growth if you are using straight soil with a weak light and no nutes...
normal veg time can be as little as 4 weeks....
if I vegged a plant for 4 months, I would hope it would be the size of an office building....

read up on sexing so you know what you have...
then act accordingly...

may want to get some nutes for veg and flower....because they are both different. and for indoor IMHO, both necessary...

...before you sprout another one...invest in some better lighting..it really simplifies things.

Hmm I'll take all that into consideration, and I have a 24" fluorescent growing light from good ol walmart. And yea I've definitely learned a lot from this grow so far and now know I need to change a few things and how to better maintain the plant and make it bushier and all that good stuff

Move your fluorescent light right on top of it. It won't burn it even if the leaves touch it, and you need to get as close as possible with that type of lighting. Also, a sativa will take awhile to finish, even after you switch to 12/12. Like a couple of months or more. Probably more. Other than that, it's looking good and healthy. I hope it's a girl.

Alright I'll probably move the light like 2 inches away from it and keep an eye on it to be safe. In all your experienced opinions which would probably be better for my plant, topping or FIMing? And I started doing the super cropping, crazy how fast they stand back up

yeah, the florescent bulbs you can slam pretty close to the plant... look into some better lighting.
even if you cant go full HID right now..I would get at least another florescent or two to help...or set her outside during the day.
then FOR SURE get you a better light before you try this again (you will be amazed at the difference)

Supercropping can do wonders especially if you can break the inner stem without damaging the outer stem... it takes some practice. but worth it.

where the hell do you people get the ridiculous idea that it is a sativa dominant plant? Did you look at the pictures and the width of the blades on the fan leaves? Just because the plant has stretched due to insufficient lighting does not mean in any way shape or form that it is sativa dominant.

To OP: You say you have topped the plant. How much did you cut off? I would have went down several nodes and then get the light within a couple of inches so that the rest of the plant can fill in.

Is there any type of flood light that I could pick up at the local stores that would be better than what I have now and still be able to use a normal fixture? And I don't exactly understand the concept. EDIT the concept of super cropping :/

I'm not sure a flood light would be the best option....
you can get normal SpotGro bulbs to supplement... one version has the 'flood light shape'...
these work ok and fit in a medium base... (about $6 ea)

Supercropping is AWESOME......
Here's a picture of one of mine: SuperCrop-WW.jpg.....

notice that the stem is wicked bent?... THAT is supercropping.
in week 4 of veg she was almost 2ft tall and already topped...
I took a piece of fresh stalk a node below the topped part and pinched it lightly with my fingers.
bending it back and forth I was able to snap the inner stem while leaving the outer stem in tact.
I then lay the half broken branch down to rest at a 90 degree angle.
within a few days the break becomes a huge node that works as a nutrient hub to your plant...
everything above the supercrop point will be noticeably bigger.

as you can also see... I have done this a few times to this plant... notice all the different unnatural directions the stalk seems to be going in?

eh....depends on the fan

I have one normal house oscillating fan on high in my flowering room;
and I have one cyclone fan on LOW in Veg..(still more powerful than the highest house fan setting)

no problem! There are some really good internet videos on the subject that can help you too... it takes some practice breaking the inner stem without harming the outer one...

BUT...keep some duct tape handy when you do it... because if you over-do it...you can just duct tape her back together and get the same effect.
this can be done up to 2 weeks into the flowering stage..

Don't flower her until she's got a proper light, hps or mh (250w min. for one plant) Just not worth the dissapointment. I'd fim until her sides came out then flower in a 2 gallon.

I would remove the stick then cut the plant in half....put a fan on it and transplant in 1 week then 12/12 2 weeks after that
