Should I switch?

Hi guys,

It has been 26 days since my plants popped from the ground, they're 25cm tall and I recon that they can go to a maximum of 1m tall at the end of flower. Before switching them I still have to transplant to the final 3gal pot give them a week to settle and them flip to 12/12. I plan on take at least 3/4 out of the grow due to space restrictions...

Should I transplant them asap to flip them next week?

they will be total of 75cm finish height around. in a small space they are perfect size to flip right now today. they may seem small to a lot of people but a 75 total height plant is a good plant . perfect for those 3 gallon pots and your space i think you will be very happy

Will the yield be compromised by their size or the number of plants will even things out?

yes and no. if you have thousand of watts and a very large room then yes . in your situation i would say no . the light will only shine 2 feed deep into the plant you have 1 light on the top ? even if you had a 1000 watts you could grow them taller but with out spreading the plans out to get good side lighting . the plant could be 2 times as tall lets say but the bottom of the plant will not get the light needed so the bottom of the plant will only make pop corn buds . so this i why i suggest doing 12/12 now to get the best yield per height . the plant can only give back what you give it . so a taller plant will not produce more but give more small buds . you want a lot of big ones .

once you have a few harvest under your belt you will understand more what is going on . right now i really like putting those smaller plants in flower . they will pull you 1 to 3 each at this height . if you vegged this plant for 6 months more you could still only get 1 to 3 per plant . more space and lighting needed to get the most of a plant . does this make sense to you ?

I have 3 x 600w, transplanted them today and will let them sit for about 4 days and them will switch, so they will be around 35cm.

Yes it does

with 600 watt lights i throw them in at the same height as you . . your going to be very happy 3 600 some great yield . 2 or 3 each per plant ! with that much power running to the, at this height .
