Should I top or LST these Hell's Angels?

Hey everybody, here are my Hell's Angels OG kush plants. I have ten that are about 16-18 inches tall after 3.5 weeks of vegging which I am trying to decide whether to top or lst?

They don't seem to have many side branches, so I was thinking of topping them to get more? I have a vertical space of about 4.5 feet in my 5x5 tent.

This is my 2nd grow, and I don't think I am experienced enough yet to try super cropping. What do you guys think I should do to them for max yield? Thanks3.14.2010 001.jpg3.14.2010 002.jpg3.14.2010 004.jpg

those look a little stretched. Almost a little late for LST somewhat, eh? I would have started LST and topping a bit sooner; start your topping around node 3,4, or 5. LST from the start. These can for sure still be tied down a bit hopefully. Good luck.

since your close to 5th and 6th node just use uncle bens topping technique and cut at 2nd true node this will cause the plant to produce 4 main colas instead of one, since plant looks spindly and tall this will help with u get a new start with the new growth..

So where in those pictures would you cut? Just above the second branch? And how long should I veg after?

to late to super crop,go with what johndoe said ,use the uncle ben teq. if you want to get some buds,and whenyou top it shove that light right up its ass,the closer the better close enough that if you put your hand under light it is comfortable not hot and thats close enough...good luck ..subbed

Ok, I guess I am just having trouble with finding the 2nd true node since these are from clones and have alternating branches. Is it just cut it after the 2nd alternating branch? Basically just cut the main stem above the second branch right?

You'll never know if you don't try it.

I'm a big fan of the "try it yourself and use it if it works" technique. If I were you I'd be cloning off of those stretched plants and putting the light much closer. You've plenty of plants to experiment with. If you cut too much off just veg' it for longer and try cutting in a different place on the next one. Don't over-complicate :D

I'm not trying to over complicate I just dont want to make the plants retarded by cutting at the wrong spot. Guess I am just gonna top above the 2nd branch on all of these and see what happens though

well your first problem is : you cant grow weed out of play dough man! it just wont flower right! lol i kid.

yeah its def too late to super crop. UBs trim technique is where to go! tho your second true node is way down there now, it will be fine and youll love the results! they seem a little tall tho? maybe shimmy the light closer to them a bit, i always have mine as close as possible, without burning ofcourse. ive never really seen a plant structure like that, i thot you had topped at first glance, because when i did, it had a similar appearance, with the staggered branches, interesting! ill be watching or hoping for some updates man!

PLEASE dont tell me your avatar was your last grow :P

and the 2nd true node is the 2nd branch right? That's all I need an answer to haha I really can't figure it out and I have been searching the internet all over.

cut right where your index finger is in the first picture, even though the the first node is sparse it will explode with growth when they bounce back from topping..

looks like u topped em at the 3rd node, grad sum scissors and cut right above 2nd node, u will be fine even though u just topped them earlier yesterday.. u will be happy with the results... dont be afraid to top em all..
