I'd just do FFOF and perlite. 1/3 perlite and 2/3 FFOF is fine.

So fill up the 5 gallon bucket ..
2/3 with soil 1/3 perlite thn mix .
Fill up 1 gallon pot make a slot.
Ill use great white in the transplant slot And on roots, insert them
lastly water to runoff with ph water at 6.5-6.8 ..

I had bought the 1 gallons already and have the great white already but ill transplant half with great white and the others with mycos when it arrives.. i would go 2-3 gallon pots but i only have a 2x4 and 19 plants lol i dont think they would fit :wall:

Sounds about right. I don't worry much about pH. And I used FFOF plain without adding extra perlite and it worked fine.

And 19 plants in a 2x4 is crazy if you ask me.

Well, it's just a lot. Have you already bought the Mars light? I wouldn't recommend Mars personally.

Not yet but i was gonna go witht tht one but im open to suggestions, but whys that?

Do u think i can fit something bigger? Cause im planning on building a living space with an extra room to grow in, im planning on running a 1k watt in it.

Also it gets pretty cold in the room i have the 2x4 in. . During the winter (right now) probably better of with a hid . For the summer it gets so freakin hot but i run a window ac on auto mode so it wouldn't be a probblem keepin the room cool for the 2x4

Ima go with the 2-3 gallons u suggested.. im not liking how low there sitting .. id like more space in between the bottom of the pot n the plant going in ..

I wouldn't buy a Mars. I'd buy a quality LED or use HID.

Ill probably go with a hid.. would a 600 watt be okay for the 2x4 or 300watt?

Would u know how to go about moving them outdoors to keep vegging .. i have em on a 18/6 .. i just found out tht i shudve went with a light cycle closer too what itll be outdoors we get to 14 hours on may 18.. and in in los angeles the most we get is about
14 1/2. ..

I don't use HID, but 600 is way too much for a 2x4.
