Should i transplant?

I usually wait until I'm having to water more frequently, this is a sign that the root ball has filled or is filling the pot. I use this method because sometimes the roots will be less dense versus the growth on top of the soil. And really the first part of the plant's life is building a good base or root ball. There are some people that think they should transplant once the fan leaves bigger than the pot. I'm not saying they're wrong because everybody has their own particular way of doing their grow. So in all actuality it's up to you to decide because you are the one that knows your plant better than anyone looking at pictures of it. I hope you don't mind I'm posting a pic of an experiment I did transplanting from a solo cup to a 3-gallon pot. I usually transplant at least four times in my growsScreenshot_20200226-104913_Video Player.jpg. You can see the underdeveloped , you can see where the Solo Cup root ball is more solid versus the extending roots which are more loose. this is based only on my experience I'm sure others will have their own opinion. I hope this helps. -G.I.JOSE

Do u see roots poking out through the drainage holes? If not, then no.
I HIGHLY reccomend transplanting into a smart pot when the time comes. Roots dont get root bound.

Transplant it into final size desired ... time to transplant varies among strains , however if you see you are watering more often , slowed growth , reddish stems , etc. )

Plant will need about 10-14 days to shoot up in growth once rooting has expanded out. But you should get it done BEFORE flowering.
You can aid in the transplant and lessen any shock my dusting exposed root mass with myco ( great white / recharge /Extreme gardening Mykos / etc . )

Look at your root mass ... discolored can show lack of oxygenation or root rot. Roots should be white and healthy . Or close to it.

You can improve the final medium with more perlite to aerate and improve drainage.
