Should I trim ?

im a new grower so I don’t know if I should trim off these weird lookin leafs to help get better light to other new growing leaves lower in the plant or just leave them be. It could be that the light is too close and not letting the plants stretch but you guys tell me. Ty

ive had plants look exactly like them. it will probably be hermaphrodite but if grown outdoors it still produces good hash

if leaves are touching your potting mix then yes remove them apart from that no do not remove anything else

if you have full sun outdoors you will pretty much never need to remove leaves unless other problems happen eg bugs, mold or they are dying off already

Ok thanks. Also should I removed the big fan leaves since they touch the soil I’ll probably just let them be since the plant is small but I wanna get an opinion on someone more experienced.

No its when I tried to top them but it just grew the leafs out and continued growing up with one main stem
Oh ok. I remove leaves that will block future bud sites throughout the grow, but do it little by little. Also I remove leaves that are touching the soil. Doesn't look like you need to remove many, but I might remove a few. They do need leaves to create energy so I try to do it sparingly.

Now problem. I was a little hesitant too about removing stuff, but in the veg stage they can handle a lot. It's when they're flowering that you have to be a little more gentle. I still remove leaves blocking buds when they're flowering but try to mess with them as little as possible.

i wouldn't plant loots small still could use the foliage to grow a little more then prune. as stated i'd start with the leaves touching the soil when you water they will just sit on the damp soil and get fucked eventually and die and when they get bigger they get shaded by newer growth and eventually die off anyways.

up to you but i'd personally wait a little longer not a whole lot to really prune to begin with and you can always train. i'd suggest LST and topping then later on pruning as it gets more bushy. i'd personally ran a regular plant just straight up twice now the yields are not worth it imo as a newbie. just by topping and LST you will get better yields. as stated though they can handle a LOT just my past run i defoliated the fuck out of my plants and people were telling me "you killed um" they did fine. it was an experiment for myself but it didn't go bad and it was in early flowering stage.

what i personally do at this stage is i top, LST if i want to and then let it go for a few days to recover at that point i will then prune and as i prune i continue to LST.

Ya I agree with topping and LST. That's what I do to.

Yea I have a plant next to that one which I think is an auto flower since it showed its sex like 2 weeks from germination that I topped and it worked but the plant in the pictures is the one we’re the top didn’t go as planned so I was just wondering if I should trim off those leafs which were deformed like a mf looked like a caterpillar had at them I will try to top again later once it gets a little bigger hopefully by then it’ll show its sex or start to thanks again for all the help im new to this so I’ll have to look into LST a little bit more. Much love to all y’all

This is what I just did a couple hours ago to my Sunset Sherbert to give you an idea of what I do.

I’ll be giving it a try Doesnt look too hard
it's not your basically just bending the taller branches down so it can shed light on the inside growth. it helps to create a more uniform canopy as well causing your bud sites to get the same pars if i am not mistaken thus all your bud sites should be nice and equal instead of having the typical top portion stacked and the lower bud sites popcorn due to lack of light penetration.
