Should I try flowering in my closet during the summer

I've got some kush n cheese and UK cheese plants vegging in my closet and theyre just about big enough to flower... but it's gonna run all through summer if I do. I'm running a 600 watt HPS with a cooltube and a 440CFM extraction fan pumping the air into the attic. I could put a small AC unit in the bedroom window to help cool things. Now, unfortunately my UK cheese plant is a heavy feeder and I let it get some deficiencies, it's getting big though so If I'm to flower in the closet, I have to do it now. I live in the pacific northwest so we have a pretty mild summer most of the time, maybe one or two days over 100 degrees every year.. some times we barely hit 90. Should I try flowering inside or just put em out on the deck with my auto's and hope the mold doesnt get em, I really dont like the idea of running the AC for the inside grow area. Another problem will arise if I put em outside, which is them getting too tall for the neighbors to see or the bud rot but its better than risking the house burning down.

i just avodoor grow for the same reason of not wanting to run dedicated a/c. Temps are managebale with an HPS with just an extraction fan for the other 9 months of the year. I harvest enough the rest of the enough year to just have a little fun chucking pollen outdoors during the summer.

Going for a run of femiinized seeds this year

I live in the P.A.C N.W also and its definitely a fine balance. Ive grown outdoors here and indoors . Too many variables, too many insects, too unpredictable . I hate growing outside here, but im a perfectionist and I cannot tolerate the crap weather and bud rot , p.m whatever. Grow it in your closet keep it under 80 degrees and you will finish quicker with a better product in my opinion

Yea go for it..and run your lights at night.. Should be fine. I've had my canopy at 86 degrees for long periods without huge problems. Is your ballast switchable? On super hot night/days you could turn it down or too some cfl's in the closet to keep flowering going while keeping the hps turned off.

BTW.. where did you get the UK Cheese? How pungent is it so far? I'm dying to grow something really stinky.

I got my UK Cheese from South Oregon Seeds. I really like it, it grows super dense nugs that are easy to trim and loves to branch out.. definately a good one for a sea of green grow i'd say. Out of the two pheno's i've harvested one was very very skunky while the other was a little more bland and sweet tasting - but that one was a heavy feeder and I kinda had small deficiencies going through flower. I grew it alongside kush-n-cheese from dinafem which ended up being a bit more tasty, but more leafy. The nugs were bigger and dried slower with the kush-n-cheese so I think that's why it ended up with a bit more flavor
