drop them into your growng medium with the pointy side down. do not try to germinate them.they will pop up in 2 days. you dont need lights for them to sprout. u can leave them in a dark spot.make sure u have a humidity dome and the temps in there stay from 75-85.

no lights till they sprout.

Light is not necessary when germinating seeds - neither is dark. But as soon as a sprout appears it does need light.

I use Jiffy Pellets and always have the lights going, the lights provide the warmth for germination.
The seeds are buried in the peat of the pellet so they don't see the light until they pop their heads up ... and when they do, the light is ready and waiting.

Warmth is more important at this point. But I like to have some light, so they know which way to go.... and have a little something waiting for them.

If you dont have a seedling heat mat, the top of a refrigerator is a popular warm spot.

You get them to sprout in 2 days without germination? That's a little fast. Put the lights on it only if you need it as a heat source. Temperature is huge when getting a seed to pop.

Germination is something that the SEED does - not what you do.
