Should I use Son T Plus buld or Metal Halide bulb in this case?

I just git my NFT system grow kit, 250 watt and I have 2 kind of lights : Son T Plus bulb and Metal Halide bulb, which one should I use and for what period. Another thing is that I received 2 Vegetive nutrients and 2 Flowering nutrients bottles, with 2 types A and B. I didnt understand the difference.. As I am a beginner, I would appreciate all ur help. thx and cheers:joint:

Use the metal halide for veg and the high pressure sodium for flowering. You use the grow a & b for veg and the bloom a & b for flowering. Don't mix a & b together, add them one at a time. If you mix them together without diluting properly you will ruin them. What kind of nutes are they? Are you doing soil or hydro?

Thx for the hep buddy. Im growing the easy riders from attitude, the AK47 * Lowrider 2.. I hope their good. im growing them hydro with 250 watt lighting

Hydro is the way to go! I'm subbed! I almost got the AKxLR#2, but they were out of stock. I'm interested to see how they do. What brand of nutes do you have? What type of hydro system are you running? Do you have a PH/PPM meter?

Man you need to do some reading on how to do hydro or you will screw them up fast..most people recommend doing a soil grow first so you can learn the basics..do a search for roseman he has lots of info...good luck....happy growing

The brand of the nuts is the joint doctor. I rly dont know the difference between the brands, I only know about the weed types.. Is it a good brand?
And what do u mean by not mixing the type a and b together? how should I dilute them and add them in the tank? Im using a NFT system with a GT205 growtank..

Put part A in your tank and then part B. Don't mix them in the same glass before you add it to your res. The nutes are too concentrated and they will essentially "kill" each other giving you a worthless mix if combined from the bottle. That's why they are in part A and part B form. I have never had experience with joint doctor so I couldn't give advice on that. As far as the hydro goes just keep your water temps in the 60's and make sure no light gets to your water/nute mix and you should be fine. Also make sure your PH is kept within range. I personally don't think soil is any easier than hydro it's just a different process. If you make sure all your conditions are right you should be fine. Here are some charts that might help you out. One is for lighting distance and the other is a PH lockout chart. Good luck man!

LOL! Edit - I just googled joint doctor. I didn't mean "nuts" as in seeds, I meant "nutes" as in nutrients haha. What kind of nutrients do you have?
