Not to pull anything back down from the attic for my light? My concern doing this is I have a wayyy stronger fan for my lights. I'm concerned if they are both blowing up into the same tiny attic air is gunna get pushed back down threw the 160cfm fan and actually make the exaust like an intake?
I really don't know how else to word my question. I just need to know the most efficient way to hook up the hoses to my pre existing holes. 2 in ceiling in the attic door and 2 in the bedroom door.
I'm worried that having so much air being pushed up the will create enough pressure to come down threw the week fan. Right now my lights are hooked up to the ceiling only exhausting and in taking to the same room.
I don't know if there like a vent up in the attic but I would assume there should be so humidity doesn't build up and shit. That's how it should have been built... Correct?

Get a fan speed controller.I honestly dub them absolutely necessary to get the right pressure dialed in.
 
I'd be careful about venting into an attic. It's going to depend on the building construction but a lot of older houses have poor venting in attics, meaning just an opening without a fan to push the air out, and they can get clogged easily (birds, leaves, etc...)
When you vent a grow room, unless you have a dehumidifier you are venting a lot of humidity in said attic and that creates mold and/or weakening it to where The wood will rot and need serious repairs to its support structure.
But then again, if the bathroom fans exhaust there too a grow tent won't change much regardless of how well vented the attic is...
 
Does the roof overhang the building?
Meaning does the building have an eaves?
The attic vents are usually in the eaves.
(Overhang of Roof is called an eaves)

Nice attic vents, I love the auto controller.

As a Kid growing up we had no A/C but we had an attic fan.
It was at least 36" diameter mounted on the side of the house adjacent to the attic and controlled by a timer in the hall.
The fan would open the 5'x5' set of louvers in the ceiling at the top of our stairs from the air it pulled up from the house.

I used to sit right below it and smoke weed as a teen.
As long as any or all windows were open and the fan was on the air was moving fast no smell existed.
The summers in NY can get pretty humid but Pop was not paying for A/C.
That fan was the next best thing to a window shaker in the 70's.

I see this is still alive so i guess I'll let people know what I ended u doing.
Passive intake was a fail, too hot and low of humidity

I got a portable AC unit, 9000BTU
Cut two holes in the door. One is for my light and one is the air the AC spits out.
So I have very hot air blowing in my bedroom. I don't mind but things should be warming up soon. But temps are still cold in New England.
I have the intake end of my light hose in my room and it goes thru the door and attaches to the lights. Then up through the 6"fan and into the attic.
Can't blow an AC directly into attic but this should be fine right?

Temps are great in the closet
