Should I wait for leaves to turn yellow to harvest and dry?

Hi everyone,

The trichomes of the plant have reached 30% amber I have been flushing for the past 3 days but since water was not coming out clear I decided to cut the trunk and put it in a vase with water, the plant started sucking all the water, now it has stopped.

The question is - My fan leaves are still green and not yellow, I have heard people talking about yellow leaves is a sign of no nutrients. Well should I wait for yellow leaves and risk the trichomes becoming all amber, or should I just hang and dry now?

Thx for the help

I've been told to just let them go. You don't want to use any nitrogen at this point, it's too late in the game. They're just going through their natural process.

You..cut the plant down and put in a vase with water? Lol never heard of that don't think that counts as flushing. And you only flush once, two weeks prior to harvest. Not 3 times in 3 days...and the water will not be clear right away, that's normal. I wouldn't suggest doing what you did. Just dry it out and hope for the best. It should be fine.

Norcal what does letting them go mean? (i hope is drying them, because I am not throwing it away) . I still have one that I haven't harvested, maybe I should look into adding nitrogen?

Peyote so you suggest just dry them out, I have been flushing for 3 days prior cutting it down. The cutting down an vase part I followed it from here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOGanN1zg3M it made sense to me, but I would stop doing it in the future if is not suggested
