should LST be used on autoflowers or let them grow normal?

I would not LST an auto. They only have a limited life span and trying to LST them will not benefit you in any way. If you want to use LST get some photoperiod plants.

exactly this, photoperiod plants benefit from training techniques because the get the time in veg to adjust. An auto will flower when it feels like regardless of your plans for it so its best to just let it do its own thing

YES, DEFINITELY lst an auto. You will greatly increase the yield. Dont top or FIM it, dont supercrop it or it will get stunted.
Tie down the branches, keep them horizontal instead of growing vertical. you will see those little bud site turn into branches.
I use stainless wire to tie mine down, or use twine, you can use weights on a string, whatever you want. LST- LIGHT stress training will NOT stunt your auto and will definitely increase the yield. Im growing a blueberry auto rite now, supposed to yield between 15-30G a plant and i am going to blow that away due to LST. I lst most of my plants.
I yielded 2oz off a 17 inch tall Northern lights using lst.
Im growing 2 SLH, 1 natural and 1 topped/lst to compare in the end the yield difference.
Check out my grow, the autos have been lst'd. 14 different strains total.
