What's up guys/gals
So I'm doing some preliminary testing I my electrical that I've just installed..
I have a sub panel with a 15a and 20a breakers
I plugged in my 1000 watt for the first time for about 30 minutes and noticed that the outlet/box was warm to the touch... I'd say just a TAD warmer than my forehead in comparison.
Is this something to worry about?
Its a magnetic ballast, kind of old I think..
Also, I had originally wired the outlets from the back in the "pinch" slots and learned that it's not advised to do so, so I re wired them on the sides of the outlets and made a loop with each wire.
This helped a LOT with the heat, but now it seems to stay at a comfortable "warm" temp.
Any thoughts?
