Should my plant be bigger by now?

hey new grower here. i planted my plant(bagseed) exactly
seven days ago and im wondering if it's growing at a normal
rate. its about 1-1 1/4 inchs tall.

No they look fine lke everything some plants come on better then others but the picture looks fine get a light has close has possible.get a couple of flouresents and get them a few ince of the top the plant will soon get it's next set of leaves and shoot up.a grat tip is if you live with someone who knows your growing have a week on week off thats how you see a differance get some water set at 5.5ph and make 1 ltr up put 1 drop of multithrive in don't feed it anything else untill it has its next set of leaves i leave mine on this feed for 3/4 week.

i had those pine bark shavings on top of the soil, my neighbor's a gardener
and he always has them on top
of his soil when he's growing in pots.
i have real soil about a 1/4 inch under.

would lots of perlite be better for my plant or does it not really matter.

A weeks worth of growth, oh your fine, she baby looks great. your lucky shes not stretching tremendously like some other peoples grows. hope that helps :peace:
