should seedlings receive mor water then usual?

my seeds are just now sprouting above soil so i just wondering should i water them like everyday? unlike mature plants when you have to water them every few days or so

I do but with very little like afew ounces. Then gradually add more until a couple sets of leaves grow. Then water as needed. Week 3 I start to add 1/2 strength nutes.

You don't want to increase the amount of water as much as you want to decrease water loss. As the soil dries, the roots grow faster, reaching out to find water. Keeping the humidity up somewhat is a good idea, at least until the single-bladed leaves start growing out. We plant germinated seeds in plastic cups about 2/3 full of damp seed starter soil, with plastic wrap over the top. A hole is punched in each side of the wrap, against the edge of the cup.

yea i have a humidifier so i dont think i would need the plastic ...Right?

As long as the humidifier doesn't cause water to get on any electrical circuits, that's right. It could allow the young ones to get more air than with the plastic, while still keeping them humid.

Couldn't have said it better than Finest. You don't want to always keep the water in high supply because the roots will have no incentive to extend outward in search of water. I'd water about a cup or so a day until the 4th set of leaves or so. It can cause the plant to start top growth more slowly because of the energy put into root growth, but after a fairly decent established set of roots, the foliage will take off.

Its important to keep the seedlings moist but not water logged. A simple answer but I hope it helps you.
