Should the soil be sterilized before growing cannabis?

i always mix sand into my soil. decent drainage and disperses water evenly. i started a few vines and some garlic into peat moss potting soil and after a heavy watering there is still dry spots throughout it, pretty much too lazy to go harvest some off the beach.

also recommend washing and baking sand from outside. lots of junk, so much that i always wash way beyond what would get the salt out.

Sister brought mom over to see the camper trailer they just bought. She briefly got out of the car but got back in after a while. But at 92 you can't expect here to spend too much time standing around. We did want to get her a computer and an internet connection but she said no. Other than the odd video that people post I have no problem getting around. The licensing thing on the vids only started the last year. Not even a minor concern for me.
