The whole idea of conspiracy theories and those that believe in them is quite well studied. Everything believed by these people has been addressed in detail and shown to be irrational. Moreover, the entire scientific community along with the entire psychological community has long ago reached a consensus that conspiratorial thinking is nothing more than a psychological disorder no different from so many others.

One would not debate whether or not people are watching a paranoid schizophrenic through their TV or living within the walls of their home. One would not debate a person who believes they are a ghost when clearly they are alive. Debating whether or not these conspiracies are real is no different.

Now there are real conspiracies in life, but real ones seldom go very far before being discovered. They certainly do not persist for decades.

Her political career is over. Even if she runs she will probably be soundly defeated. And I didn't mean scared in the literal sense. I meant scared of her becoming pres. I'm not a democrat and I have to admit I'm a little scared of that thought.

I dont think its a fear of Sarah specificaly, i think its the thought of "an empty vessel" running the government. an empty vessel to fill with whatever idealogies they want to. Its the fact of having someone even less intelligent that G.W. running the gov. thats scares people. its not literally fear of Sarah.

the USA not only blamed spain, but it was the first instance this country started a war unprovoked, without proof of any aggression, just started a war, because at the time, it was the correct strategic decision. The spanish government expressly denied any involvement, yet the war was started, and history went on it's course. Officially the US did not mention that as the cause of the war. just like officially the war in Iraq was to remove a dictator who supposedly murdered thousands of people. it had nothing, officially, to do with WMD's.

conspiracies have been around forever, and there is NO proof, or concesion in the scientific community that enjoying conspiracies makes you mentally impaired. RickWhite, you're wrong. what the scientific community has found, is that when compared to the population, the incidence of mental disorders such a paranoid delusions, schizophrenia, etc. is higher among the conspiracy crowd, but the statistical correlation is not enough to make a generalization such as the one you're making.

3 acre plot of land about 25 miles from town that has a nearly fallen over structure which I would like to remove and put an older used trailer house on the old foundation. I am working on slowly purchasing a Solar panel array, I will need about 20 of these panels to do what I want and at about $900 for each panel its going to take me a while to get it all( I need about 4k watts minimum). But ultimately I would prefer to farm the land ( I grow a veggie garden every year at my home in town) and use the solar power to provide electricity. The batteries would store power for the night time and the Generator would be used in times of need. The land already has a working well and there is a large lake just 1/4 mile away so water should not be too much of an issue. I also will bring fishing poles and misc fishing equipment as the lake has plenty of fish.

I also have about 3,000 ounces of silver buried in various spots and about 3 ounces of gold and 500 ounces of silver that I hold in case I need to liquidate some quickly. I have no debt other than a Mortgage which is not much of a payment since I put a large down payment on it.
