Show Me What You Got LST?

Hey man, good to see you came to the dark side! haha, anyways. LST is the shiz!

Just a thought here, I can't tell completely from the pix, I'd be a little careful on the stems that low to the dirt tho. I usually do a counter tie, so that when I bend her over there isn't ANYTHING tugging on or putting any sort of presssure on the roots. Only because I, personally, feel that just bending the stem where it goes into the soil is a risky deal... Accidents can happen, and it's just smarter to do a counter tie IMHO!

The girls look good, not doggin on you in anyway at all here man, just a suggestion. I bet your gonna love the LST! :hump:
I actually thought of that myself and the great outdoors is gonna be calling my name soon so this is more of a fun test run kinda thing and im not pulling that hard because the ties are just from keeping them from comeing to far up i just pulled and twisted the ties slowly im just trying to keep them as low as possible and gonna veg for 4 weeks prolly those pics where 2 weeks and im starting to see roots comeing to my drainage holes just see the tips of them

i agree with the counter tie just to be safe. also i usally start tieing down when the plants are in their final pots. other wise u have to untie transplant and then retie. just a suggestion
This is a part cup grow so im not gonna be transplanting anytime soon

its gonna be hard to finish them im sure their roots are already runnin out of room in their
i've seen plenty of successful party cups most of them are way bigger then i ever plan for mine to be just gonna go more on the nutes through flowering

well i didnt say it wont be a succses but its much harder to do. having to water1-2 times a day. plus wants its root bound its gonna slowly get worse and worse and nutes wont do much when its bound. and most who grow good in party cups are using clones. just sayin u could have a half gal pot and still have the same size plant but it wont be as root bound or wanting to die

Yea mine are about 21 days old (from sprout) in the same cups... And they're roots are poping out EVERYWHERE! I need to transplant them pretty damn soon here! I've seen plenty of successful party cup grows too! But I guarentee you could get double the yeild from a containr that's only 2 times that size... Wouldn't be hard, wouldn't take up much more room at all, actually it'd be quite easy. AND you could have double the amount of smoke..... Seems like a no brainer to me...Iit's your grow tho man, so you can and will do whatever YOU want to! That's what's so great about this hoby and this site! You can get shit tones of info from tons of different sources, tones of different grow styles, and intertwine them all to make your OWN sort of unique grow style. Fun as hell! lol, keep it up!

I gots to agree with MC to the P... It's your grow tho, so do what you want.

I understand what your saying im just trying this out keeping them as low as possible for fun and when i transplanted when i put them in they where kinda at an angle so i guess it's why it was so easy to get them to go this way? because i didn't have to bend or stretch or work anything i just put the ziptie on it thats it

I untied mine whenever I switched to flower and she pretty much stayed in that position... I don't do a whole lot of tieing tho, Just the main stem (or stems) really. I don't even bother tieing all those side branches down unless 1 is just growing faster than fuck...

(I actually put the ties back on the main stem a little over half way through flower, one pulling in each direction going 4 different directions. Just for support tho because she started leaning)

Oh, and pretty pretty girl MC to the P!

ok gotta question for you lst gurus im gettin ready to start my outdoor crop in doors and im gonna lst them, my question is will i have to re tie them down when i move them outside or will the stem be strong enough to stay curled up? im just worried that they will grow back normal when i move them outside
it probably will stay curled, but it will go back up a lil bit. bit i would retie it outdoors cuz the plant is most likely gonna be alot bigger than an indoor plant. but i also would only lst it outside if i had a fence i didnt want it growing to tall for , u know to keep it private. but if plant height isnt a matter id leav untied cuz the sun should produce enough light for every thing

Here's some shots of my baby LST's.

A bubblegum and some og kush x blue satelite bagseed.

lookin good, are u by chance doin those for the party cup comp.:bigjoint:
