looks good. i see the beginning signs of nute burn on some if you haven't noticed it already just a heads up on that. and sorry i cant remember but have you posted earlier i this thread?

Thats not nute burn actually its from being a newb and putting a pan of raw vinegar to catch gnats in my room .the fumes from that stuff burned my leaves , DAMMIT they come back well .
Dont believe I have posted in here b4 just been watching ,I actually decided to LST after reading a thread on IC mag . That guy got 4 1/4 ounces off one plant .Made me a believer .Your plants look great as well .

To this - each cola is almost the same size as the main big one.

As for size, the entire plant is 19 inches from the soil surface. The big main cola is 10 inches of that 19!! :D

the pics aren't the greatest but it's a pain in the ass to take them all out of the closet but here's the grow. plants are all the same age and are exactly 30 days old from seed today. started tying at the 2 week mark. i'm pleased that none of them are over a foot tall. the ones in the green pots are hindu kush x afghan haze f1s from mr nice. the orange pot on the right is a sharksbreath that has some sort of deformity and is only growing 3 fingered leaves but it's femmed so i love her anyway. the orange pot on the right is a pineapple chunk that i broke a few days ago trying to tie it so i threw some duct tape on the bitch and am just going to leave her alone now. this is under a 400w hps on 18/6 since the moment they were planted. they were all topped/fimmed before the tying. notice on the closeup of the main stem that i did not bend the main stem. i actually leaned the whole thing over from the soil surface. it was anchored like a mofo so no worries. going to flip in about a week. i know it looks crowded but some of those will be males.

lookin great, i myself never realy used an anchor tie either, i did it like yous in the last pic. nice work.

does the soil support them through veg or do you have to add some veg nutes as well
and cinnamon for flavoring, ive never heard that before. have you done this before and does it make a difference

i love that example it is very clear to see how he did it and with great results, he tied it down twice. i dont think he uses this site any more for some reason though, i think he is now at a different site i forgot the name though. if you look at the pics you can see exactly how it is done.

oh and thank you to every one who has posted theri stuff and for making this thread so big and great and informational. i hope it has helped every one in some way. and thanks for no drama in the thread that is a rare thing on this site

The lady in back is either a Alien Dog V2, or a Sour Diesel X Afghani #1, im not sure, and she is probably 3 weeks away i think. She was non topped, no lst, and I will never ever let a plant grow straight up on its own. The yield is just so disappointing compared to using lst. supercropping, and topping. I am a huge fan of supercropping, and I do it to all of my ladies.
 
ya yield does seem to go down with out any topping or some sort of bending. and super cropping is the shit its easy and very effective i consider it LST as wel l with topping
 
very nice, they look identical. they are the same strain right? sorry if i forget its hard to remember whos plants are whos and who posted them with out going back and looking for them
 
One is purple and the other is lemon haze...the purple has a lot more of an attitude. This last harvest produced some of the best smoke iv ever had.

Hi everyone.

Just a few pics of my SCROG'd mothers and my SoG at the start. Going in to flower in the next few days. I'll update as and when i have development...
 
i know i posted the plants a few days ago but the pics didn't do justice and i want a decent reference point if i post an update in flower. i have stopped spiraling the main stem and am now just tying branches to the opposite side of the pots. the canopy is much nicer looking now. holy budsites. tomorrow will be the end of 5 weeks from seed.

The soil supports them during veg but I have to add nutes during flowering and I haven't tried cinnamon before but I will let you know how this turns out or you can follow my journal, link in sig current 2nd grow :grin::weed:

glad your harvest produced great smoke, the best i smoke was my own as well and is still my favorite smoke and strain to this day. its called shishkaberry

well i hope you post pics of them flowering and post all you want my friend its ok. your LST job is lookin great when do you plan on flowering, sorry if i asked already, it seems my memory is much worse when i am clean from smoking, its been about 2 months since ive smoked now but i might get to smoke some next month for a day or two
