nice job on the lst, i like the under neath photos, its a nice veiw of what the plants see. i used to take pics under neath as well, i think more should take under neath pics i like them

My Blue Widows 5 weeks in veg and 2 days in Flower. Since the canopy was so even from the lst I decided to scrog as well. The bigger on is about 3' wide and 14" tall at the moment and the small is 2.5' wide and 14" tall.

very nice, and very even canopy you got going, she looks very good. great work
oh and also what is the purpose of the clay pebbles in the water tray if using soil?

The Clay hold any water that comes out the bottum of the pot increasing the humidity in the room without leaving the pot sitting in water. I live in a area with an average of like 5-10% humidity. So keeping my humidity up has been my biggest struggle. Thanks for the comments. Im hoping i waited long enough to start flowering, they seem so small compared to my outdoor grow experience. This is my first indoor grow.

When you mentioned that it got me thinking. I once moved from eastern Canada, only a few hundred feet above sea level, to the foothills of the Canadian Rockies which is around 4000 ft. One of the first things I had to deal with to acclimatize myself was dry, dry skin. After years I started missing home and couldn't really pinpoint what I missed for the longest time, but it ended up being the environment. The Rockies, foothills and prairies of the west, as beautiful as they can be, didn't have all the great vegetation and lakes and waterways like out east. Out west, or more precisely now, in the higher altitudes, there it's an abundance of evergreens and poplars and a lot of grasses, but here, in the lower and more humid east, the variety of leafy deciduous trees like maples, oaks, willows, etc, and all the different plant and flower life as compared to the west is very contrast. I guess that I just never associated altitude and it's dryness to the type of vegetation around.

Just thought I'd share that. D:peace:

ok that is a good idea.
and as for the plants being small well i think they are a good size to be put in flower. you dont want indoor plants near as big as outdoor plants. say your using a 600 watt light and you let your plants get to 5 ft tall well that is pointless cuz the light will only penetrate some where around 36 inches down and all the bottom stuff would be fluffy and small. i used to flower under a 600 and i would try to keep my plants below 3 ft witch i usually did cuz i lsted. and htey will blow up in the first few weeks of flower with the stretch

I'm just getting started really, lots to learn. This plant kinda went nuts halfway into flower, after I got the bright idea to hang a propane lantern in the room. Those spikes at the top and lots of the volume came out after that.

This plant was started from seed.

In my first grow, I used seeds from AMS, WW fem and Carmelicious. The Carmelicious were supposed to be easy, but I didn't have much luck with them. Mostly males if they did germinate. Had great luck with the WW. Being a newbie I did not recognize the male Carmelicious before it had totally pollenated my WW girls. I ended up with lots of seeds. The plant in the pics is from one of those seeds, and it is an awesome smoke.

My first try uploading pics, hope the show up in the right place lol

The propane burns, creating Co2. If you are asking why a lantern as opposed to, say, a stove then I guess I would say it's easier. Maybe less heat. Very easy to hang in the middle of the room, doesn't seem to use a lot of fuel. Using the control on the lantern I have quite precise control over the ppm of CO2 in the room. Once it's tuned in for the day within an hour, it says there. The monitor and the results say it is working. :)

I see the point but what I'm saying is unless you have it on during the light cycle with your fans off I figured it wouldn't be as beneficial as persay some sparkling water or dry ice in water just some things I would choose over a lantern. And o course be using them during the night cycle with the fans off

The lantern is on during the light cycle, yes. I am using a fan which ocillates across the plants, and generally disperses the CO2 falling from the lantern. The lantern is off during dark cycle. I read that it only needs the CO2 during the light cycle anyway.
During summer I was venting out of the room to the outside. This should not affect the CO2 because the way I am set up the venting is on the opposite side of the plants from the CO2. Besides, I have moved the monitor around the room to experiment and the way I am blowing air around in the room, it is quite consistent throughout the room.
It's just so easy...no muss no fuss. No buying dry ice, propane is lasting a long time. I just turn the knob and light it, make an adjustment an hour later, and voila it is generally set for the day. I do turn it off if I leave the house, but it seems quite safe.
It may not be ideal for every situation but it sure seems to be for mine.

monica is a Gmilf. she is about double the age a plant needs to be to grow. alot of people told me to kill her.......i decided to find a new growing technique friends.

FIRST

i grew the plant with very low watts. like less that a hundred watts of flouros one reptile uvb one lowes grow light. one reptile heat lamp that was a blue daylight bulb and was 200 watts.

the plant stretched like a bitch. but she i eventually read the vine method drawn in PAINT to get a good idea of what LST was about. so i started. growing her like a vine till she was about half way around the pot. i topped her first of coarse and had my new colas established before all this. any who. moved her to a 400HPS for awhile and vegd her under that for a couple weeks and then started flowering on the 3rd of oct she blew THE FUCK UP MAN OMG!!!!! i cannot believe my supercropping without knowing much at all. i found my passion in this art friends. i will be here for a very long time. i even almost gave up on this forum of users due to harassment for my name. but you know what fuck that shit. I AM HERE TO STAY. AND LEARN AND TEACH IF POSSIBLE> thank you

new pics. of janice and monica....well new pics to you that is

*sorry for the monologue.....i explained a little .. um.. earlier.... that i am really really high..... *ERIC CARTMAN*

she looks very nice, looks like the accidental seeds made some good plants

hey man most your plants are lookin great, and dam thats alot of pics.
the plant in pic number 5 is really stretched out and that isnt a very good trait in marijuana. and also the plants in pic 4,7 and 9 looks good but it looks like they are getting cold, i think this cuz they have purple tips already and that is usally a sign of cold temps and slows growth. the plant in pic 8 appears to have spider mites. toehr then those few small things the others look great.
sorry if it seemed like i pointed out all the bad im just trying to help. if it is spider mites it will need takin care of asap
