You should see the size of her root massThat things got a tree trunk!
I got a quick question (I hope its quick) about LSTing. I get the concept, and how to do it. But what exactly is it doing? On all of these massive plants in this thread it appears each plant was topped or FIMed with multiple Colas, or are those just the smaller branches that become a bigger Cola due to the better lighting?
There's a bunch of threads on LSTing, but there all the same and none of them really go into that much detail I dont feel
How do you like them Smartpot thingies? I use em too and they work nice for me.My Red Kush reveg LST project, Day 29
I love them, just not the price, so asides from the few that I have been given, I make my own.How do you like them Smartpot thingies? I use em too and they work nice for me.
I got the cheapo version made by C.A.P. Gro Pots instead and they work great. I got 5x5gal. for like $20 delivered from ebay. And the CAP ones have handles.I love them, just not the price, so asides from the few that I have been given, I make my own.
I dont mind a little DIY, and the cost on mine is pretty cheap if you minus the labor.I got the cheapo version made by C.A.P. Gro Pots instead and they work great. I got 5x5gal. for like $20 delivered from ebay. And the CAP ones have handles.
I may be out of my element here as I have only been at this for a few years. I like to think of my plant like an Italian mob family. LST represents the politics of a mob family. You have your top cola (da boss) then you have all those side branches (the soldiers) All the soldiers want to be the boss. As soon as you take the boss down a rung (tie the main stem over) the soldiers see an oppurtunity and they try to become the boss. Before you know it, you have all these wanna be bosses. I think the science behind it has something to do with the main stem being pulled lower then the side stems, which tricks the plant into thinking the side stems are now main stems. I don't know if this helps and I'm sure someone has a better explanation. The real beauty of it is, there's really no right or wrong way. You can bend the plant anyway she'll go, I've even seen a plant tied in a knot.I got a quick question (I hope its quick) about LSTing. I get the concept, and how to do it. HAHA, I'm the guy who spends 15 to 20 mins a day with my shades on staring at my girls.^^^ haha stoner. nice analogy.
Thats just the time I spend looking into their eyes aimlessly. If I could, I would move into that grow box with them. I even have weird emotions on chop down day.15-20 minutes? is that all? Are you saying more than that is weird?
