I am noting that a lot of people have their charcoal filter outside their grow tent. How is the helping eliminate odor?

They probably push the air through it, which is less than optimal. I personally dont use any odor filters/covers. I would need 2 of em at $100 each (per year), and the smell doesn't bother me.

Hi Stoner.
My set up isn't nearly as sophisticated as everybody elses. Ive gone for the low power (apx 600w, total power consumption), low cost, easily moved, thing.
Found a few seeds in some commercial pot, stuck them in dirt & up came 3 plants.
After a very unfortunate experience with soil mites/fungus gnats, I decided to try Aero and DWC.
So, this is my setup.
T25 for my starter plants, in an aeroponic, 3 spray nozzle, tote.
After the plants are established, I put them in rockwool, in 6in pots.
About 4-6 weeks before I switch a plant to flower, I'll move it to DWC.
The closet has 8, 23W Daylight bulbs, for 8 plants, in various stages of vegetation.
The nutes that I use.
My flowering table, made from 8 inch dryer vent, for the reflector, and 12 soft CFL bulbs.
I had hoped to produce one plant every 2 weeks, but it looks more like every 3 or 4 weeks.
First plant will be ready in 2 or 3 days....FINALLY.

This is my 4x3x5 grow tent with a chicken wire for scrog grow, ten gallon bucket with 2 air stone/pumps. im running a 400 w hps with digital balast, air cooled hood with duct fan on one side pulling hot air out.there is also one ten inch fan that keeps it between 70- 75 degress. and that is pretty much it.and i know this is about the grow ROOM but i have one pure kush, and two white/urkles. second grow of this strand
