i live by a cow farm and wondering if i could find shrooms there someone told me u gotta wait till it rains then go with a flashlight late at night and find them growing on the cow shit is that true and if not tell me what i can do to find the shrooms in the cow farm and all that

you can find them in the cow shit when the moon is full.. Its best if it rained before but not nessesary

so if i go to the farm at night with a flashlight i will find good mushrooms ? i know i gotta research on which ones to pick but there will be good ones there ?

If there is a "FULL MOON" and wait till just before dawn.. you gotta pick em in the dark but you want them to grow as much as poss. You like eating shit ?

and they normally grow around the shit not necessarily in it.

after it rains, at any time of the day. Go flip cow shit over with a stick and look for shrooms. If picked wildly they are legal in Florida.

all i can say is find someone who has picked shrooms before to go with you. You can seriously hurt yourself if you don't know what your looking for. Looking at pictures might not be good enough you really have to know what your doing.

yeah uh not true. you might find a totally different species of mushroom which could be poisonous. you never know what you're really eating unless you are an experienced mycologist. Someone in another thread just said they picked shrooms off some cow shit and he was "positive there the right ones" but didn't trip. obviously they weren't the right ones. so even if you think they're okay, they may not be. The only people that should be sticking unknown objects in their mouth's are babies. And they have warnings for that.

my statement is a fact that if you find the RIGHT shrooms you trip.

i am no mycologist but i have been threw a few fields and have never been disappointed nor sick, only trippin

i do agree that you take a risk anytime you pick mushrooms, but unless you are growing you own or buy them from someone who is, you dont really know what you have.

with proper research and a few more experienced pickers going with you, you should be okay.
