Sick of Football Players Thinking They deserve Half!

At least they are according to financial estimates made by Forbes magazine, which released its annual NFL Team Valuations yesterday and determined that the Dolphins lost $7.7 million in operating income in 2009, joining the Detroit Lions, who lost $2.9 million, as the only two teams to lose money last year.
The other 30 NFL teams turned at least a $2.1 million profit (before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization), with the Dallas Cowboys ($143.3 million) and Washington Redskins ($103.7 million) as the runaway leaders. New England, the third-most profitable team last year, pulled in $66.5 million in operating income. The Dolphins turned a $26.6 million profit in 2008, equaling a decline of $34.3 million in operating income over one year.



Poor Jerry Jones made 143 million. But that's just not enough. I agree that greed hurts the fans. We simply disagree on who is being greedy.

bro 2.1 million dollars as profit aint much considering alot of ur players make more than that..these players play 16 games and r makeing almost a million dollars a game u say thats right???..

but how much is jerrys pay roll?? that money he made it will take 6 maybe 7 yrs to pay for the stadium he just built boss..

Wow. Pay off a stadium in 6 or 7 years huh. Yeah, poor guy. I have no idea why you think a guy who can pay off a billion dollar stadium in 7 years needs more money but if you want to feel sorry for a guy like that, knock yourself out. I'll still side with the individuals that sacrifice their bodies and in some case minds to entertain fans like you. You can side with the guy that has a stadium he uses for things outside of his FB team to generate millions of dollars in profit each year. Poor guy.

im saying he wouldnt make any money for 7 yrs but he would be paying a pay roll of like 150 million prob more.....I dont feel sorry for the owners...never once said that..ur saying the players deserve as much as the OWNERS how does that make any SENSE TO U...Trust me anyone fighting over how to split 9 billion dollars i dont feel sorry for them at all when i make 25,000 a yr...Just saying the players dont deserve half and anyone who thinks this is nuts...
