Sick plantling

Hello all,

Woke up this morning and checked on my once healthy WW seedling and found some problems. Shes at three nodes and has been topped now, pretty compact small plant. Had my LED light about 5 inches from it. Anyhow, heres my problem.

The starter leaves (not cotyledons, but the set directly after that) are browning/rusting, and they are brittle. Not dead yet completely, but definitely a problem. New growth also seems to have a tinge of this brown on the outsides, but otherwise the plant looks healthy.

I immediately assume light was too close, then remembered other plants did fine. Went to my PH. Im in soil, and I havent been PHing things but I have the capabilities. PH was between 5 and 6 (litmus paper test) so that should be fine.

My nutes were crazy high. Either I hit a hot spot in my bag of soil, or somehow nute water was fed to it by mistake. Hovering at around 1000PPM >.< im in the process of flushing that ridiculous nonsense out of my SOLO cup container haha.

My question is, do you think the PPM could cause these symptoms? I've seen burn before and either this is the *super* early stage, or its something else. My other plants just brittled up and turned yellow/grey on me and died. This seems different. Can too many nutes cause a lockout of other things the plant needs?

Let me know what you think. I was *sure* it was PH when I first saw the plant, but this is something new to me.

*update*

The lower leaves are still drying up, and now im noticing 'rust spots' on some of the leaves directly above those. Any ideas?

Pics ?
Is plant at least 2 weeks old ? I'm asking because sounds like you fertilized too young.
Im hoping this is it. I cannot for the life remember hitting this girl with nuted water, in fact im 99.9% sure I didnt. Im thinking this WW might just be finicky or something and that the soil was just too strong. I use FFoF, but have never had PPMs starting that high in a solo cup haha. Im thinking I somehow hit a spot of soil that wasnt mixed well or something.

The plants showing a bit more damage on the set of leaves directly above the first 'real' leaves she put out. No other damage has spread yet. Im hoping it was the PPM's, I flushed the shit out of it till I got to the PPM count of the plain water I use on the girls. Ill keep an eye on her from here on and post back once I have something to update with. Doing my best to recover this girl, shes my first WW and the only seed I had!

You think a plant this young could exhibit cal/mag problems? I havent dealt with that before (at all, not just the age its being hit at), so ill have some reading up to do to see if that might be the problem. thanks :)
How old is it?What type of soil?
