Its possible I shocked the roots cause I botched a PH flush by dropping the PH too soon, rookie mistake. Temp range is Hi around 73, Lo 65. Humidity averages in the Hi - 45 to Low- 35 range but fluctuates. I just feed it every few days with Bio Thrive and some Bio Root - Root Buster. Possible I was over mixing in my feed as I was just kinda eyeing it. I took off allot of sick leaves and it seemed ok for a few days now Im starting to see more and worried the plant might die. Hopefully I think it just needs Cal-Mag which I have to go get soon.

Any thoughts are welcome. I have a 300W equivalent CFL I got at Home Depot that its temporarily under till I get my T5 light soon.

Thanks,

StondTone

I'd hold off messing with PH too much until you have some more experience. There are a lot of aspects of growing to master and I think there are a few things in line before PH levels in soil IMO. It's one of those things that is very easy to screw up and if you do can have dire consequences.

That's exactly what it needs (cal/mag) -- good diagnosis However since she is already under stress and growth s slowed, I wouldn't start removing leaves unless they are 75% dead, of which they will eventually just fall off. But de-foliating does slow down/stress plants.(FYI) Those dying leaves are a nutrient reserve for the plant. Cal/mag is taken from the lowest leaves first, so If you cut off the leaves its feeding from, then a new leaf takes it's place. Before long the whole plant looks like shit.

Thanks tikitoker! Very helpful info. I will say the bottom leaves were the first to start changing. I only pulled off the really bad ones thinking the other leaves might pull through. Going right now to the hydro store. Thanks again
