Sick Plants - Please Help

Hi Guys

I am reletavitly new to this forum and am definitley not an experience grower. I have recently been given 2 plants which were initally from an indoor set up. Before i recieved them they had been remove from the indoor setup and where in darkness for about a week. The plants are very droopy which i believe may be from over watering, Moisture meter was on high and after 4 days of no watering is now down to medium, PH level is on about 6.8, the leaves are turning yellow on the sides and are curling up and dying. The stalk to the leaves are also turning purple. Please see below pics for more details. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any plants coming from indoors to outdoors are going to get a shock. If this is what is going on maybe u should cover them with a mesh tarp. I dont have much exp with growing just tryin to give u an idea on what to do from what i have read. I wish u all the best times
