Signs to start flush process?

At what point do you guys start the "flushing" process?

I know they are close to being done, but I dont know how to tell when there is just one week left.

Can you predict it by the changing of the trichome color? How long does it usually take for the trichomes to go from 10% to 50% amber?

Thanks ofr any help you can provide on this one!

I did my flush about a week and a half before I pulled. I think it's really up to your own discretion at the end of the day. I could be wrong though.

It depends on the strain, but I've seen some amber 3 weeks before it was actually finished. Trichs don't change in 1 week, and even if the tops are showing lots of amber, the lower buds probably aren't as far along. Hope that help

yes, that does definitely help. Ive been seeing what seems to be about 10% amber trichs for at least a week now but not sure how much longer they have to go, because like you said, the bottoms arent near as far along.

are there any other sure signs that when you guys see you say "this plants needs to start being flushed now" ?
