I grow in coco and I was wondering how many growers add silica to their nutrient solution, and have you noticed a difference.

Greetings, good question. I have some but don't add it, was thinking about adding it to this run. I am slowly going organic I guess so using less additives each run. Teas are the sheet. #Random

Silica is said to help build stronger stems and branches. I may try it on my second run in a few months.

Use it. It is fairly cheap. You can also use it as a foilar spray in veg.

Hydro Galaxy sells a gallon of X Nurients Silica delivered (if you are in the USA) for about $28. It will last you forever unless you have a big grow.
