Simple question

Am I correct in thinking that if you were to clone a purple pheno of a strain you would produce consistently purple buds? Obviously there are temp's to consider, but I'm saying a true genetically purple plant. I'm sure this is below most of you, but I'm new to this and would appreciate it if someone could answer my question. Thanks =]

Clones are exact genetic duplicates of the mom, so given the same conditions, they should all look very similiar.

Yes, now seeds produced by this same plant do not follow the same rules. But clones are exact, environment can certainly change everything though.
