Gotcha, but 5000k is ok for veg right? All they had at the store when I bought them, cash is low can't afford 6500k right now. Will get 6500k as soon as money comes in, found a place that has them for 4 x 26w 6500k for like 11.99 and they also have 6 x 26w 2700k for like 10.99, I was like nice no money and I find them lol.

haha, finially got a 105 watter huh? Its going to do worlds of difference. Use that bad boy till the end. You have a couple 2700K to throw in there too?
i think the spectrums are really misunderstood, even by me. for instance, SICC does his whole grow with 2700k CFL, and now has the HPS. obviously not a problem for him. i have read that 3000k & 4000k wasnt good for growing but have seen some awesome plants grown with 4000k bulbs. i have a 4000k CMH, which is the version of the bulb everyone touts as superior. I guess about any spectrum will work ok given healthy plants. but I suppose strains which come from certain regions may be predisposed to like a certain spectrum.
i think 5000k will do you great simply
when you say dro, do you know for a fact it was grown hydroponically? lol.. just fucking with ya... lol... i always ask my friends that when they say they have some dro...
Same here micro, I always ask "Is it actually grown in a hydroponic setup or just high grade grown in dirt?" lol
SB, its looking good, how long you been on flower now? I think I missed it.
it was actually grown hydroponically by my uncleHe's the one thats gettin me to go hydro my next grow as well! a lot of high grade "DRO" in central texas is actually grown in a hydroponic setup...the weather gets harsh on plants during the growing season. But those buds are a couple of small nugs out of my stash of my uncle's most recent harvest. Its an unknown strain, has a lemon smell and a citrus like taste...idk gumball, he grew this same strain in soil and im liking the hydro a little more. I mos def wouldnt say it loses its taste or smell at all lol, the only thing i would say is the soil is a bit smoother in a bong than the hydro...most likely due to flushing....they both have the lemon smell and citrus like taste, the hydro on the other hand has more resin production.
thats whats up!! like i said, i have only read/heard that hydro didnt taste/smell the same. i have never had any known true hydro, that i know of at least. cool you have a family member you can share and talk about knowledgable growing with. i only have my brother-n-law's, and they are both ignorant when it comes to growing and cultivating good herb.
