SinCity Oscar Goodman Test

Wassup all my RIU friends back with another grow that I'm very excited and honored to be doing. It hasn't been the greatest run I've done since I've been out of commission with my back and being swamped with work but it's coming along now that it's time for flower.

I started with 10 beans cus 2 were broken in the package when they were shipped. All 10 seeds germinated and sprouted so I had a 100% germ ratio. After first couple weeks of being sprouted I ran into some trouble of my seedlings being burnt. Still to this day I don't understand why cus my soil wasn't hot but I won't be using that brand of soil ever again. I'll just be using a nice light seed starting mix for now on. Plant #10 died from being burnt too much just couldn't recover so that left me with 9.

I revived all 9 I had left and since I received a sample pack of the Nectar For The Gods lineup I decided to try it on these beans. The line is very good for people who wants something close to organic without having to amend soil. Only thing is this line is a lil hard to dial in but once you start working with it you will learn it. Things were going great till I got promoted and work took over my life completely and the plants got neglected a lil and then I got hurt so that meant the Mrs had to help take care of them and I love her to death but she can't make grass grow lol so they went through a harsh few weeks but I'm back in action and everything is looking good. Not like I would like it to be but I recovered them just in time for the best part.

DAY 5 12/12 WEEK 1

Ok I'm finally getting these girls to flower after I recovered from my back injury. Couldn't do anything for a while and the plants got neglected. But they survived and pulled through and are back on track now and doing lovely. This is a soil grow and I had some hiccups in the beginning with seedlings being burned. Didn't understand why they got burned cus the soil wasn't hot but it's all good cus they're way past that and are starting to produce buds now.

Out of the 10 beans I was able to pop(2 beans crushed in the pack) all 10 germinated so I had a 100% germ ratio. After being burned I repotted the plants and all recovered but I lost one. That left me with 9 healthy Oscar Goodmans. The plants vegged for about 9-10 weeks from seed. I lost track a lil from me being hurt but it should be about 10 weeks cus I transplanted from 1gal grow bags to 3gal grow bags a week before I flipped.

Now here we are a week into flower and things are looking great for all the stress they've been through. Out of 10 beans I ended up with three females. I think I would've had more cus I had two beans crushed from gate and I lost 1 after they were burnt so three is good I think. All three phenos are different so that is good and all three are sativa dom phenos with #5 being the most sativa dom pheno. All have nice node spacing but really no branching as these girls didn't get the best of care but I believe they'll produce some nice branching once trained to be a bush. All three phenos are topped and supercropped in veg a lil so they have nice thick stems but they look more natural.

They're loving the Nectar For The Gods lineup. I've been feeding what the chart says to feed for early flower now but adding tad more Demeters Destiny which is liquid calium and Athenas Aminas which is nitrogen sourced amino acids. Don't want these girls fading too early as I'm sure these will be at least 10 weeks. I have my eye on #5 as I love my sativas. this cross will be a big yielder. Enough talking here they are on Sunday

DAY 8 12/12 WEEK 2

Ok here's the ladies as of this morning. They look much better than on Sunday. I was gonna feed them the nutes today but I had lots of running and I'm just getting home not too long ago so I'm not gonna bother them in the dark. I'll feed them in the morning before work when lights come on.

I'm gonna go with nutes/plain water/compost tea since my hydro store brews up some good stuff for free. That'll do these girls good. They're drinking a couple gallons every few days so they're stretching and getting big. Bud sites are becoming prominent and nice sour funky berry citrus smell on stem rubs. Will have more on that later on once these girls are in full bloom. I'm very excited to see what this cross is gonna do; the mother is a legendary clone and the father has produced some dank plants already so this should be good. Here they are from this morning

DAY 8 12/12 WEEK 2

Ok here's the Platinum Delights(Platinum GSC X Blue Power). She was started a few weeks before the testers. She's been through it too just like the rest but she's coming back to life. She has seen a very rough life; was root bound from me being injured so she didn't griw much during veg but she has always been a small runt type plant. I'm sure that's the Blue Power in her. She moving right along after a transplant before flip and now she's startung to show what she's gonna be looking like in structure.

Pistils are just coming out but I already knew she was a female cus I started her 12/12 from see just to sex them first. I haven't seen her fully flower yet so I don't know what she truly looks like but I'm dying to see. She's been getting fed right along with the Oscar Goodman testers but she's a lil more dark green than the testers so I'm thinking Nitrogen toxic just a lil but nothing that's stressing her out. I believe in keeping them green as much as possible anyways till the very end.

She's looking great have the size of the Oscar Goodmans so she's propped up to be on they're level. I have a clone of this girl I'm getting ready to run hydro with in my system but she won't me a monster like the Blue Dream. Just wanna see how she produces in hydro. I can tell I'm gonna love this girl and I'm sure everyone will love her too. Here she is as of yesterday morning

Naw Widow its the El Jefe clone x WhiteNightmare. The El Jefe clone is a cross of some great strains from the San Diego area p91 x San Diego Hog. SinCity told me the mom is one of the biggest yielders they've seen and paired with the WhiteNightmare it should produce some nice heavy sativa buds.

I do have that Blue Dream x WhiteNightmare cross. SinCity named it The Rem. Besides fem versions it's supposed to be one of the closest to the clone only Blue Dream. It should cus the WhiteNightmare has Blue Dream in it but I think my sativa pheno from HSO is just as good as the clone only so The Rem won't be popped for as long as I have my HSO Blue Dream

DAY 12 12/12 WEEK 2

Ok here's an update for Sunday. Been a lil busy these last few days to post it but got time now so I figure I would update. These girls are growing amazing. Stretching like crazy everyday. Hopefully stretch will be over by the end of next week but if not I have plenty space. I bet have the Platinum Delights in there with these girls and she's half the size of the Oscars so I'm just trying to keep my canopy as even as possible.

Pheno #5 is going to be my keeper. She's very sativa dom and I'm a sativa man so she's looking like the winner. Started putting out frost on some lower budsites around 8 days after flip which is very good for sativa dom hybrid. #6 is looking very good too. Has more indica traits than #5 but also put out frost in lower budsites around day 10 tho and not as much as #5 but still looking very good. #9 is looking good but hadn't seen any trichs on this girl like the other two but she could surprise me and very well be better than the other two.

I'm just happy I can be doing this for one of the best breeders out there. Truly an honor and I'm glad I was able to keep these girls going and looking good. Smells are funky can't really distinguish yet but it's some crazy smells going on on the stem rub. Once they become more pronounce I'll speak on it. The lineup is doing very great too really impressed. Just wish it wasn't so many bottles to mix up but I understand why there's so many. These girls are drinking like crazy forgot how hard it is to feed/water by hand on nice size plants. Got used to the hydro system lol but I'm on top of it tho. Gonna keep these ladies green as long as I can before harvest. Won't be doing anymore pruning except for dying leaves. Things couldn't be going any better and I'm excited for the weeks ahead. Cookies are coming along nice man, or they were until the LED started bleaching the tops. Ive had to go back to my 2 bysens as they were just getting nailed. Here's a pic, bit shitty as its on my phone but you can see they are doing well. The plant in the top right corner is my blueberry x white rhino, she is going to be a beast

DAY 12 12/12 WEEK 2 Platinum Delights

DAY 15 12/12 WEEK 3

Ok here's the start of week three from Wednesday. Been very busy with work and getting his new place. Very excited tho cus I'll have more room to do what I want to do and so will my family.

Things are looking great still. Girls and happy and standing up reaching for the light. The sign I love to see. #6 is starting to look like #5 but we shall see in a few weeks if they're tye same or not. #9 is the loudest of them all very rotten sour berry citrus haze smell. I think she will be the best in smell and flavor department. She's starting to get some frost on the lowers too. Just a lil behind the other two.

Still feeding the same regime. Will get a tea feeding today when I get off work and go to the shop to get some. I can def see the budsites are starting to bloom more since I've added the Bloom Khoas in and I also got the Tritons Trawl fishbone meal in there too so I'm sure that's helping. Very good lineup mixing is just a bitch tho especially when you have but girls like these and they're not done stretching. Girls are drinking like crazy and it's justbearly flower so I know it's gonna really be crazy when they're super thirsty and swelling. Still believe these will all be big yielders as the parents are big yielding strains so should be in for nice haul. Things are just really taking off and more good pix and uodates to come.
