Hey Hillbilly, I'm a noobie for the most part so I can't necessarily tell you which strains are predominantly smaller since I've only grown a few diff strains. However, I can tell you aside from checking into each strain from wherever you purchase (They usually give a general size expectancy) you can top your autos which will obviously stunt them and grow a much smaller plant than if left alone. I've seen a guy grow a 6" plant that was one large bud, only yielded 15g though. I have a white widow that got stunted and is only 20", even though two other guys growing the exact same strain have much larger plants. But you can top them, or even train them with a lil LST if you like. So there are choices for you, find only predominantly small plants or create one out of whatever strain you like. This is only my observation. Good luck with all your grows.

topping is a nono with auto flowers

kc45 grows a single cola in a large mcdonalds cup

and about the topping auto's think the record is a dutch passion auto mazar at over 360g's in a dwc with led's and it was topped

you can top super crop and fim most of the new strains with no ill effects

Topping would be a no no for someone trying to grow to it's full potential, however if he wants to have a small stealth grow he can top them to stunt them and keep them smaller..

Everyone saying topping doesn't work on auto's is aware that the record breaking AutoMazar was topped, yes?
