Single plant grow turns Hermie....

Exactly how I feel Jogro.... dont really care as long as She'll still provide decent results ya know?? It's just a little tough when you put so much energy into one basket... was hoping it would be perfect...lol!!! she's still looking good though~ Changed her name to Lola though.... made me chuckle....lmao!!

u might want to really inspect every square inch of yr buds for nuts. those fuckrs can be real hard to find. but if u do end up w seeds u can always make hash out of yr whole harvest. or just pick out the seeds and smoke like the good ol days. but i wouldnt plant any of the seeds u get. u may end up w the same problem

that brings up an interesting question apbx.... where exactly do I look in the larger buds up top??? they're pretty easy to find down below but if those suckers are popping up in a fat bud... I might have problems.... any suggestions??

and even if I do find one buried in a nug.... how the hell would I get it out without a pollen storm on the bud??? omg.... I hope I dont have to deal with this....lol!!!!

i also started as a single grower, like growone said, its snip snip and keeping an eye,
I had the same issue with my very first plant mate, you can see it on my signature,
finally by doing it everyday for the last 4-5 days I got a seedless lovely harvest!

Just went through your blue himalaya grow.... amazing read!!! amazing results to boot~! I'm gonna make it happen.... 24 hours with no new issues.... one day at a time I guess.... will keep you posted loop. any anyone else who gives a shit lol.... be well my friends...

they can show up on nodes or anywhere on buds. look everywhere. i would use tweezers and small tip pruning scissors. u might be able to get creative w some seran wrap depending on location. be very gental and carefull not to pop em. easier said than done.

this is the challenge of a hermie plant, it can be a bitch to keep it clean
one trick, get a spray bottle with water, mist down the area you're working on before snipping roosters
water kills pollen very quickly, and will keep it from spraying all over the place
spray again after snipping
water does increase the risk of mold, but i did manage to do this without any mold creeping in

I am confused by this...like are you saying if you picked one out and the pollen pollinated the plant? Seriously just let it fly and then have some seeds...it isn't the end of the world, I will toss a male plant because they aren't really going to do anything for me...but if I had a hermied plant I would just let nature continue on its course... And you really need to take some pics of the hermie parts, I just want to see them for confirmation. Sometimes when they are your plants you are too close to the whole thing...they might not be hermie's at all.

From what I understand missnu, if the plant were to pollinate itself and then start producing seeds, the plant would then begin to focus on producing those seeds rather than producing thc and fattening up the buds. I'm new to all of this but that's what I've been told... Good news however is that I have yet to see another one on the plant... so keeping my fingers crossed

and as for it def being a pollen sac I took it in the other room and smooshed it in my fingers.... pollen all over my fingers so It's safe to say I wasn't seeing things~ but ty for the response.... always learning here

Well if you are totally sure that your plant is growing male parts only on it's lower beanches then alright.

i had a girl go hermie on me, grew her out, harvested the seeds (i would never DIG thru a bud with tweezers to pull a seed out but thats just me). the weed was awesome and i have a nice supply of seeds.

yep.... I caught 2 of them.... right at the bottom.... and now there are nothing but pistils.... (knock on wood)

Don't despair! I had 2 feminized girls go hermie on me so I used a product called Reverse which is a female hormone spray. You'll need the Reverse and a wetting agent like CocoaWet.

Get yourself one of those spray bottles that you pump and the liquid comes out under pressure. Mix the ingredients as directed and spray the leaves of the plants that have the identity crisis.

You need to get the wetting agent because that allows the Reverse to stick to the leaves long enough for them to absorb it. Without the wetting agent, the Reverse will just run off the leaves.

Get all the leaves and cover the plants that are ok so the stuff doesn't get on them.

And pick off all the balls! There shouldn't be any left after 3-4 days.

Awesome results, I saved my two girls, got a great yield AND a few bonus seeds...which are by the way feminized as well.
