Single Plant stealth box

Whats the smallest dimensions i could get away with for a stealth box i would build from wood for one single plant?

i would recommend 1 feet by 1 feet by 1 and half feet

though if you have like $30-50 you can always get a nice pc case and stealth that

i have a pc case im not using but its pretty small...like 18x16x7 inches or so lol...

How much are you looking to grow? You can get a big Tupperware container and scrog/lst the plant and grow a decent 15-35grams

whatever i can get space wise but i wanted to keep it one plant for sure.

I would recommend at least a foot width foot height foot length. You can check out my stealth box in this thread that I started a couple days ago. Its a nice stealth box. Do you have to worry about parents or friends or anything?

Yea parents lol but i build my own speaker boxes and i would just say its one im working on but never have time to finish.

If your parents find it common for your room to have speaker boxes in it, why don't you just built a large speaker grow box? You can look up speaker boxes online and on here, I was just commenting on one now:

I would say take some ideas from the internet and build yourself a nice speaker box. If odour is a problem for you, a possible solution which I am still thinking about is having a timer air freshener which can go off every 15 mins (for example, that would be my choice) to reduce the odour. And also fit the outtake fan with a carbon filter.

if your talking about subwoofer boxes id suggest that. why would anyone snoop around what appears to be a working speaker.. that was why i choice using that speaker box. RRain posted the link to my thread. you could make a fairly large box for lets say 2 12" subs or whatever you have at home, make the box ported and bam you have a great ventilation setup. youd have to be creative and come up with a way to seal light leaks so no light comes from the box that your parents would notice.

I would reccomend black electrical tape to seal any light leaks, it's what I'll be using for my PC grow case.

i would ask the parents if i can grow, since it is there property and they would be the ones getting fucked because you most likely do not have a medical card or legal permission

I agree with milehighman. The realities of growing even one plant have a way of becoming more than one anticipates over time. It would be very difficult to really maintain that sort of secret from your parents and friends over an extended period. Even a small 12v PC fan that would be necessary to vent the speaker box could produce too muc unwanted noise and raise questions. Then there's the odor issue. It would require several small ion generators or some carbon filter to deal with that could also raise eyebrows. Just remember over the time req'd to grow and bloom something even fast maturing out completely, the odds are that something unexpected will happen. Say one of your parents opening your door just when you're checking on your lady in the box. I'm just saying, ironic things just have a way of coming up when you least expect it. And it's wise to be safe rather than accidently making just one slip that could jeopardize far more than you bargained for.

I would rather not be quoted on my views as to being caught but I'd like to give my two cents.
I'd say if there's a chance of getting caught by the authorities (it doesn't sound like there is) never do it, your parents will be the ones in shit.
As to your parents finding out it is your gamble, imagine how they would react and also the possibilities of them finding out. Care to your plant at something like 3am when your parents will not be awake and in deeps sleep, or whilst they are it work for example. Don't take a chance. If you think you can get away with it, go ahead man, also think about how your parents would react to you growing (genuine) medicinal marijuana. I'll be growing some medicinal white rhino from attitude seed bank in a couple of months, which i am really excited for, according to attitude it is good for ms arthritis and (more commonly) insomnia.

if you live in canada you dreally dont eeven have to worry about anny legal bullshit for 1 -5 plants its like a 100$ fine max if your minor $200 if your an adult lol. Plus no one really cares if your growing a few plants for personal use as long as their not monsters lol all you have to do is make sure no light leaks out and your parents are not suspicious. Try to create a "vent" with "light filters" aka some black fabic thats not glossy and get some ultra quiet 120mm pc fans. I have some 1500rpm fans that make no noise(i think mine are 8-12dba theres 2500rpm fans that only make 26dba which is pretty good also, the more you pay the more silent you can find). I hear more noise from other people snoring then the fans. Though if your planning to have a bunch of fans I would get 2 of the quiet fans also try to have the fans blowing and suck air from the lights so that its easier to cool.

well i dont condone any behavior like this, but..... i was a kid.. i had plants in my house while my parents were around but i only kept seedlings and clones in my house for a short period of time, never had a flowering plant, my drug sniffing cat we had would've found it but hell its your choice if you want to get grounded and possibly reveal your pothead ways to your parents go for it. just be smart dont check on your plants after dinner wait till late night. and if your parents start getting noisy get those plants the hell out fast

Had an idea for your steal today friend, if there is some way that you could have the lights + fans (seperataly, not fully thought out idea btw) plugged into a extension cord socket, then you could use a 'remote socket controller' (something like that, basicly turn off sockets with a remote control so if you really needed to switch of either of them when your parents are coming you could do. If you had your plants dark period during the day and their light period during the night when your parents are least likely to enter, less chance of light leaks and better to switch off your fans (comparatively) when it is on its night period. Hope that's clear mate, possible idea.
