SinMint Cookies Pheno Hunt

Sorry for the late update guys, I know I was a little inactive, but I was in Hawaii for a business trip. But here it is!
I left my sinmints in the care of a good friend and had him text me pictures of the ladies so that I could see how much nutrients to give for each watering, but sadly, on my first day back, lost my phone.
They are all looking pretty healthy so far and I'm loving the structure of some of these girls. They're all around 8-10"s tall.
I will be posting pictures under better lighting tomorrow. I've also started a Pineapple Fields from Dynasty Seeds that Gandalfdagreen had referred me to.

Thanks, and yeah, I thatb lady is looking pretty nice as well.
Man they are looking so nice. They are 2-3 times the size of mine, but I think I fixed my issue and they are growing better now. Check this out might help with the pheno hunt.

I believe his SM1 he shows at the bottom of the 6th page is the one he said smelled strongly of pure mint.
Mine are only bigger because they were started earlier than yours  Plus, youre in hydro, so I'm sure your girls will be passing mine up in the race.
And thanks for the link. Really helps with my search! Only thing bothering me about these journals is that i havent seen one sinmint with any color on it other than green

I don't know if your gonna find any color man. The some of the GSC(in pictures never in person) I've seen has a bit of purple to it, but it doesn't seem like a dominant feature in all of them. That being said, I'd almost want a green pheno if I find a seriously minty flavor it just seems like they'd go together. It seemed like that dudes SM1 is super bright green which I thought was real pretty. Thats how my powrnap buds I harvest last week are drying up, still a super bright green in them, and just caked with trichs.

Ive seen a lot of GSC growing and finished, and almost all of them that ive seen had at least a little bit of color to it.. but then again, were talking about SMC, not GSC.

Also susceptible to ca/mg issues but it is ending summer so during that time ca/mg becomes more mobile.

Where did you hear about the sinmints being finicky about cal/mag?
Is it just me, or does the new strains on the market require a lot more cal/mag than the older strains? For older strains that I've grown, I normally only give a shot of cal/mag about 2-3 times for the entire cycle. But for these new ones, I'm giving them a shot of cal/mag almost every other feeding.
I'm indoors, so the season doesn't really matter on that note.

for the record I'll give Sin City Seed the dank award from what I've seen so far. I wouldn't think that "mint" though would be a popular flavor... When it pops up in my breeding, I eliminate it... Here's a picture of a Sin City seeds hybrid (Cherry Fuel x T99) 010.jpg <= It smells insane, I can't really identify the aroma, but it's very intense and unique... I broke both main colas over, and placed blue tape on them. this helped stop upward growth, and will increase yield.

Same here. Best deal around on them 15 packs, and my LVBK is a WINNER, both the phenos I am keeping. I got 7/7 girls on the first germination, popped 3 more later and only one was a boy. Will be a return customer for sure.

With my experience with sinmints so far. Maybe its just you. Really do you run a closed room with AC units? Even if you are indoors and you are getting heat spikes during Summer ca/mg can become an issue.

well, I had an ac unit cooling my room, but took it down since the temps dropped.
But I didn't keep in mind how certain elements react to temperature change, I apologize.

No need for apologies :-). If an element is mobile in nature like ca/mg higher temperature medium and ambient temperature it disperses faster. Therefore you have to be mindful of that and make the necessary adjustments to your water regimen so you curtail a deficiency like what you have been doing.
