Getting ready for round 3 of indoor flower. Wasn't digging the heat or electric Bill's this summer, so decided to make a change to only leds for the higher heat/electric demanding months.

Also moved the room set up around. Before had plants on perimeter with work aisle down the center. Now my grow will be in the middle of the room, with 3 leds suspended above, with access to plants around the perimeter.

Before, having the plants along the walls also presented a challenge for scrog, and last grow used bamboo and twine for support. Did not dig it whatsoever..so changed that also. Now have my net on a PVC frame, suspended from the ceiling by adjustable light hangers.

Not sure on strain selection yet...but will have that figured out soon. For sure I will have white super skunk and jesus OG. Got a few others i might toss in, just to make room in the veg tent.

I'm in!
I like that scrog screen that allows you to work from all sides.

Thx, suspended from the ceiling lets it sway some, for more hip room if needed. Can also be raised, lowered and adjusted for a short or tall grow. When finished, it can be raised strait up out of the way for easy harvest.

Diggin it.

I built a scrog frame for dwc today, and found some super heavy duty tomato cages for the base of my soil scrogs.
Once I bite the bullet and add 3 more 1k hps I'll take down a tent and build a retractable scrog in my flower room based on your concept here.
Note: not using white buckets ;^)

Hope you find some good deals on 1k hps.

Not sure where your from, but around here they are almost giving away good used ones. Seems like everyone I talk to are using 600w de or se, 310 cmh or full spectrum leds.

That's how I got my Chinese led blurple leds and se 600 hps's. Got offered a ton of 1ks, but passed. People upgrading to cmh and full spectrum led arrays.

Forgot to mention....

I'm sure in the last pic, some may notice a lack of leaves...

I am still struggling with the spider mites, from my last grow....tossed a whole 6oz plant in the fire a week before harvest because of them....

Stepped up my IPM and will continue the battle. I've got too many incredible strains and time invested on a perpetual indoor/seasonal outdoor grow to give up now.

Some who may know me, or know a bit about me, know that I also gtow/propagate coral. The hobby has taught me that manual removal along with acceptable eradication techniques is key, and the war can be won. With diligence, education and not ever becoming complacent.

Blew through the room with some super cropping bends, breaks and twists, along with a foliar spray of spinocide. Still got z couple weeks till flowers/pistols pop. Layered a good amount of diatenacious earth on the soil too.20190804_191408.jpg

I got candyland outdoor, in flower (this thread) and in veg- and will have more in the cloner too for safe keeping.

I've personally never tried it, but it's so many friends favorites....I'll make sure to keep it around.

Been dragging my feet on this one.....its been my worst grow (other than the ones I got busted with or didn't see flower) since I started in the early 90's...

See those 2 candyland in the back, in the last post? So nice...so beautiful....but whats underneath got light burned, just like the pineapple express did from last grow- I blamed bugs or possible lock out/deficiencies. It was the GROW light- light burn.

The candyland in back imediately after harvesting ebverything under the lights, got moved into scrog (as it was a few weeks behind everyone else) and suddenly showed same symptoms of the same as last 2 grows. Unplugged the light and replaced it- symptoms imediatly stopped.

The middle light is too concentrated and focused for a 7' room.....more suited as a main light in a high ceiling grow and not a basement. Next grow will be back to the first grow- the 2 maxisuns and a 600w hps- but finally new bulb.

My turnout sucked. Had bugs, blamed them- treated them correctly but followed the wrong rabbit hole....

Long story short- quality seems close to good and quantity was bad- small buds on top and density issues under, just like the pineapple express that grew under these last grow. Not happy, but didnt loose in my opinion other than the defeat of a bad grow and not realizing the light issue 2 grows strait....
