Funny how this is the first year I started using a "sweetener"... went almost 11 years growing (mj) plants without it, now I can't seem to water without putting some kind of sweetener in. Only one I could find so far was "Grandma's Molasses", seems to work with the organics in my soil, the girls look the same with or without it. Only real plus to using it so far, is when added to my 'tap water' it drops the pH to the perfect level (~6.4 - 6.5 on my pen). I will see if it really adds anything to the smoke, if it doesn't I will go back to plain water and save the few $$ for something else... that's an extra 3$ a grow I can put towards something else I might not need

Thanks guys!

I was considering not even bothering, but one of my bro-on-laws insist that it should be done.
I'm sure the Molasses is where I'll go..

Wanting Bud Candy,.but word is it's pretty expensive.

In soil when you water with sugars/molasses it feeds the microbes and they in turn produce more nutrients. In super soil we feed sugars around day 40 and again around day 60

SDA, I would look into AACT teas, there's a lot of goodness in them and are a huge player
in any organic garden. OGBiowar is what I'm currently using with a few extras and I really
like the stuff.

As usual, my Colorado brothers and sister...

Thank you for the great advice, lots of love for the Colorado patients section.
The two” SN” phenos are looking fuckn FIYYYAA, LOL
It appears that these two are going to produce dense sticky colorful flowers.

The wreck..well, she is getting bigger and bigger
, but seems to be taking longer for her to start blooming, but she has big fat ass nodes and are starting to fill in.

Neville is commonly a ” wispy” flower right?

It's been a couple years, but I remember a friend growing Neville, and it was the same grow characteristics.. Heavy yield with big wispy flowers, and quite the heady smoke.

Day 17, and white hairs are everywhere stacking and stacking, every time I open the door to the tent.... Looking really nice.

I say out loud..” Whoa!..Wtf?..Holy shit”

Growing is truly a lot of work, but a labor of love and passion..
I'm loving it.. But damn, even just running three plants.... Lots of work for a guy who has physical limitations.

I'm super hard-headed in this regard, I'm lifting and carrying the 5 gal water jugs..
My wife yells at me when she sees me doing such things.

I really should start listening to my doctors, therapist, family and friends... They all want me to stop exasperating the bone and joint deterioration, and apply for disability.

Really don't want to, as it seems that I'm giving up...that's not me, not SDA approved.

But, I need to accept the fact that I am disabled, and...well..

It would be nice if I didn't have to work at a place that is physically overwhelming...
Sorry about the novel.

Thanks again to all, y'all rock!!

I got an extra pump and hose if you need something to help stop with all the lifting of 5g buckets.
We do that daily, and it def gets to be a pita.

I use a RIO 2500 aquarium pump. It lifts 5 gallons the 7' to my reservoir in no time. I don't want to think what it would be like without it. Dude, that's the other thing. You should seriously consider going auto water with Blumats. Saves much hassle. Then you're only physically pouring liquid around the plant when you decide to feed... and the Blumats sense the extra water and auto adjusts. They're the bees knees for cutting back on the heavy lifting..... just sayin. I know folks throw a lot of suggestions your way, but that's the cool thing about this corner of riu.

Thank you to all the kind words,honestly..I must give most of the credit to the breeders and genetics of this grow...

Ole sir dabs is a rookie and is just managing to maintain the plants health.
I usually update right about now...but I forgot to snap pics at lights off this morning, as I was still a bit stoned upon waking up..ha

But, lots of new growth to report..

Pics coming at lights on..

As a reference...The oscillating fan is rather tall on it's own...I had to put it on top of a milk crate. Here is a better pic..The whole room looks like....
Still sucks..but a little clearer image of what's going on in there.

Sir well let me know. I'm just having a super hard time keeping temps up to 90° in my tent, which is where CO2 is the optimal temp for consumption. My brand new regulator, CO2 meter, and 20lb aluminum tank will probably not be used after this flowering so I'd be willing to work with ya if you wanted it to come your way;-) . I'd say your buds are bigger than mine judged by your new pictures, and seem to be feeding off the surrounding leaves more than mine. GL

Have you decided if your going to start throwing them a little molasses or other sweetener? I'm giving my gals a shot of mol on Saturday with their Open Sesame.

I always heard above 86 degrees photosynthysis stops. But CO2 can allow you to get up to 90. I would think lower temps will give you better results because the temp at the surface of the leave even at 80 room temp is more like 95-100 on the surface of the leaves and just under the epidermis of the leaves. You sure about that Night? Please sare any links to back up your statement.
