Actually the average person from NY that I would consider a moron somewhere in the 20th percentile IQ range would probably be in the 95th percentile in most of the south. I would assume that goes for most of the north since our schools are better and more adequately funded.

I'm not using schools to measure intelligence. I never mentioned tests. Now that we've established your response didn't address any of what I said, let's move on to what I did say.
Translated so you can understand it: People from NY (presumably people from the north in general) are smarter than people in the south.

Now if I had said that people from the north are more intelligent because they test higher and do better in school, then I probably wouldn't assume you live in SC, GA, AL, LA, AS, OK, or TX.
While we are on the subject of gauges of intelligence, I would certainly say that having to repeat myself 4 times to a majority of the people I encounter while they look at me with their low-IQ face and say "uhhhh," is a pretty good measure of intelligence.
