might be an idea not to put the links up so others don't click on them at the mo you could be causing probs for others having that dodgy link up...........something to think about if you don't want to click the link then why put it up???

Exactly, some invite only sites have popped up, if you were lucky enough to get invited to one you certainly shouldn't do something like this, simply don't click the link.

i agree with the original poster ... why shouldnt he out you lot trying to get members onto another forum , if he wanted to join another forum im sure he will be able to find one himself !
going on about how all the so called riu pros are over there makes it sound like site jacking to me !
If its such a great forum compared to here then stop sending our members pms and f' off over there ... maybe you lot should tell admin how great your other forum is , see what he says !

I just wanted to enjoy multiple sites, again....multiple strains are good, aren't they?

I guess this is goodbye now that you have outed me as a person that enjoys more than one thing.

I WILL miss riu, but will mostly miss the people of riu (you guys helped me out a lot)....Have a great day guys! And have some great grows!

well i'm sorry .... got rattled by the method of recruitment ....unknown person, unknown site (i did breifly google it) ... it all seemed underhand and more then likely the work of DS if you ask me ... maybe if i'd had dealing with ChiefChuckles before then it wouldn't have seemed such a honeytrap

....... no i didnt have to do it...... but i wasn't doing anything wrong in the first place

Don't feel bad dude, you didn't do anything wrong. That's considered recruiting and is ban-able offense. Why not let the site draw people based in it's merits rather than resorting to sneaky guerrilla tactics?
Because the site sucks...

1. While it is not considered acceptable to advertise for a grow site on another grow site there is no reason in the world while someone cannot or should not belong to multiple grow sites. At times I have been a member of 5, 6 or more at a time, and some of those times I was a mod on one or more sites while still frequenting the others.

2. RIU has lost a good number of it's most skilled and most helpful members over the last year or so. Due to various reasons, one of them being that certain people who were or are in positions of authority here, that were not made to handle the position, that lacked or lack the temperament and experience needed, have driven off most of the best of the best. Of those with true skills and experience that remain a fair percentage of them now spend a minimal amount of time here and spend most of their time on one or more other sites.
