Gday how long will i be on this learning curve seems like maybe years. I guess everytime something new comes up her is my question. It is my first time growing sativa group doing Kalimist
one week into veg cycle. Does sativa show sex at same time frame as everything else and is there anything special i need to know to grow them.
Good or bad things just info that might prove important down the sativa road.

muchthanks inadvance brother :peace:

make sure you have plenty of height in your room as they grow very tall, keep in mind they double in size when blooming so veg it accordingly. and dont worry if the buds aint as dense as normal cos they tend to spread em out.

the learning curve is as big or as small as you want it to be... growing can be as easy as you want or as involved as you want... you can throw a seed in soil, grow it, flower it, and have bud.. but if you want to get every little bit out your plant its much more involved than that.. so it just depends on you and how far you want to take things..

most strains of MJ will show sex within the first couple weeks of flowering.. but thats not always 100% accurate.. sometimes its 3 weeks in.. sometimes its only a week.. but assume within the first 14 days or so you should know.. if not, there isnt much else to do but keep waiting..

sativas grow taller and thinner than indicas.. so keep in mind that during the first few weeks of flowering your girls will double to triple in size... so its very possible a 2ft plant could end up 6 ft or better.. just keep that in the back of your mind...

also, as was said, the buds are usually longer and thinner on sativas than indicas... so dont trip if the buds seem small at first.. they will fill out...

i actually have some sativas im close to flowering.. check my youtube videos or my journal if you are interested in lookin at them.. they are pretty easy to spot in the videos and pics by the bud structure...

good luck and hope this helped
