I suspect the terpenes in the skunk people refer to were a big reason the high was what it was. I remember it being rather intense.
6.5 is a lil high try to bring it down a lil but if its thriving well your doing it GREAT!!!Thanks for the reply thump easy - I did a foliar feed of just water and epsom salt(1tsp per gallon) as well as a couple watering of the epsom mix. I also tried a compost tea of N rich bat guano and although the original skunk #1 got a boost of growth I am still seeing those small burns. I'm wondering if my super soil mix might be the cause of the problems but my super skunk is thriving in the soil. FYI - I'm using organics; super soil with compost teas my water ph is 6.5
attitude got a great jan promo for skunk #1 strains from sensi g13 greenhouse ect ...try g13 labs super skunk and sensi super skunk, i think they smell like road kill skunk.
I was glad to see this petedav - My sensi super skunk is doing pretty good and it has a strong smell even now in veg. Even my seedsman original skunk #1 has a strong smell to it but it is not doing as well as the super skunk. I like to leave my plants in veg for about 14 weeks so they get nice strong stocks and I can take a lot of clones. I'm in about week 12 of veg so I only have a couple more weeks before I go to flower and I'm hoping that once I go to flower that the skunk #1 will turn around. I just feed all the plants this week with a high N bat guano compost tea and I think for the next couple of waterings I'm just going to use some water with epsom salt. For the first week of flower I will water them with a little MOAB and then just use water and some fox farm big bloom when needed. *I use the counter-clockwise method to trim my plantstry g13 labs super skunk and sensi super skunk, i think they smell like road kill skunk.
I grew out a bunch of Super Skunk, not a single one ever smelled like road kill skunk to me. They were funky as hell but had a sweetness to them instead of the pure skunk funk from back in the 70s and 80s.try g13 labs super skunk and sensi super skunk, i think they smell like road kill skunk.
That's sad to hear althor.I grew out a bunch of Super Skunk, not a single one ever smelled like road kill skunk to me. They were funky as hell but had a sweetness to them instead of the pure skunk funk from back in the 70s and 80s.
i got some skunk seeds from back around 2001 but havent been successful on germing them yet started with like 10 or so an got like 3 left.i got a few skunk crosses that date about 8 years back lolz should i pop them???
Sent ya a pm. Not sure I did it right though. Let me know.^I, as well as many others, are still searching for the true skunk. Unfortunately, if people have it (and there are those who claim to) they aren't sharing.
nice looking bud there!! man i wish i had someNa I don't have no like cut of skunk from the 70's or anything. I grew out cannacopias rks and my pack of beans were the real deal skunk. I made beans but they stink so much I'm afraid to grow em. $30 for 10 beans of nice, real skunk. I loved the smell but man it was even starting to make me sick after awhile. If you grow um chop at 7-8 weeks for some potent smoke! At 9-10 weeks it's real mellow. I don't know what happens as the trichs don't really change in those 2 extra weeks but the high sure does lose potency. It's a lot prettier to look at when it goes the distance though. Strait up bag appeal to the max. Turns purp on her own in 90 degree temps. even. The purp weed is it later chill high and the lighter green at 7 weeks potent!
hmm interesting and how are you mr nice shits going?I ran a pack a TH Seeds Puna Budder and one female had the strongest aromas I have ever come across out of more than 100 females. Delicious coffee spice skunk that was so strong it was alarming as a stealth grower. Puna Budder is very indica dom and the other phenos had a spicy sweet tropical fruit smell so I believe the spicy geno came from the afghani hashplant side.
