Skunky Munkey Grow 1

Wheels points out a good example of the pros and cons that exist with every growing technique. You should use the technique that best fits your situation. When I started looking for systems my intention was to get maximum yield so that's why I went with the recirculating DWC setup. Everyone that I spoke to said it was the best way to get massive yields from a few plants. It also scales out nicely and I plan on doing my next setup with 20 gallon buckets instead of the 5 gallons ones. That way I can keep the plant numbers down to stay within the legal boundaries.

And I would also recommend a chiller but I don't want to say it's absolutely necessary because I know people have been successful without one.

im going to do individual dwcs with drains on the bottoms so its easier for my crippled ass to drain them. lol. :)

I wonder where you got an idea like that. :dunce:
shit. in already thought of it. i had my recirculating set up so that once the pumps were turned off the water would drain back into the res and then be easily disposed of thru a nice drain with a hose leading outside. :)

I guess if I cant get my setup to fit in the house Ill have to get a chiller for the garage. The garage isnt sealed and was like 90* in there when I looked at the place that I will prolly be moving to. The a/c inside seems to work pretty well though.

I guess the hempy buckets would be a bad idea for the same reasons outside then, since they cant be chilled.

You may need an A/C in the tent if the ambient temperature in the garage is 90+ degrees.

I have a portable unit in my bedroom that I prolly wont need once I move that can go in my tent. The reason I bought a portable instead of a window one was just for this reason. ;)

Updated pics:

The plant tops directly under the light bulb got burned pretty badly. I know I know, should of could of would of and will do next time. Moving on. I kind of want to see what happens if I leave them alone. Will it affect the rest of the plant or will they just burn and die off?

build a sealed box and mount a window shaker on it. i built my 4x6 for about 200 bucks in materials and another few bucks for paint and i sprung for the nice lock and piano hinge for my barn door. lmao. so about 250. but if its not being rained on u can do without the paint and locks. lol. i got a buddy that built one inside a bedroom but it was a 8x8x7 box. he sealed it put a window shaker on it and now grows pretty good weed. to bad he is a jew and wont share. :/ but u get the point if u build it it will outlast a tent if ur not having to worry about moving. not to mention u can build it in the exact dimensions u want.

they will slowly die off and drain the plant of valuable energy. i did it once to a 2 ft tall plant i didnt need as an experiment. wasted a bunch of fucking power like an idiot. i think u should top all the burnt ass ones as high as u can. in otherwards cut the burnt shit off dude. thats my opinion. but u may want to ask anothers first.

oh but if ur not done with the stretch the others may grow too tall also. oh snap nigga. u should super crop those bitches. go from where the burning starts. give the stem a little squeeze with some needle nose pliers and just let them lay over under their own weight. also another option. but u didnt like that one the last time. :/

You've still got a lot of stretching to go. I'm running a similar setup in a 4x4 top drip/dwc, and my plants grew another 5-7 inches from where you are before the crazy growth stopped. I'd try to work some wonders with some heavy LST, it looks like you have the space. That or some topping as suggested previously.

I pinched one with needle nose pliers and topped the other. Let's see what the difference is in the end result.

Here are some pics of the part that I cut off of the second stalk. You can clearly see the damage. Oh well, live and learn.

Thats mighty nice of you kind sir. I wish more people were as upstanding a citizen as you. Then maybe both you and I wouldnt have to buy herb from dispensaries. ;-)

My stash is down to scraps. I am going to be out by this weekend.
