Glad in spite of some trials you've pulled it off & ive really enjoyed your thread it has put some considerable thought into the strategy for my next grow I'll be looking forward to your next grow meanwhile I wish you & yours all the best for Christmas & the new year as I once said sky walker was both one of my most challenging & most rewarding strains all in one

Bigup mate and best wishes to yourself and family also.

Yer its a proper mind bender smoke actually haha it has 2 phases: theres an initial "boom" hit off it which passes fair quickly to a creeper sativa high. Had to go into town to get a last min xmas gift after smoking a phat one with a friend and when in town, various people were coming up to me to say happy xmas and I am in a half nacotic state lol Its one of those weeds you dont realise how strong its hit you untill your out and about doing stuff (at least for me).

As you said yield really surprises you with this. I was looking at it hanging thinking christ I think I have fucked up here there only looks like there is 200g until you feel a bud and realise the density packed in it all. Not one fluffy bud at all.. Obviosuly partly technique in that too but yer, she packs weight.

I best enjoyed my sky walker when fishing & camping or just enjoying the outdoors in general it gives a sense of well being with no conflict in my little world where I realized I can't control the whole world just my little corner of it yeah I miss the high even now I find myself eyeballing the rp- Dna grow your own lemon walker as I've grown both parents & really enjoyed them you've got a good point about the density & weight things as its lack of large buds can be deceptive as far as final weight is concerned

Thats interesting. Im actually ordering tonight and going off all your previous comments.. I am now umming and arring lol. Any recommendations on a naughty quick 8 week indica? lol

Yer rock salt is a good idea, will try that on this indica grow. Its my second grow in this country still getting used to wild humidity... Its a bit up and down here, but generally it sits high (around 80%)
I started with Rare Dankness's Starkiller(skywalker cross) and decided the same, it was a hassle to grow. I got 501st, another skywalker cross, and Skywalker OG from RP that I have not had the chance to finish...

Anyways, my favorite starkiller is a real pain! I have had it for about a year now and it really has to have a lot of worm castings, too much for me to keep up with. My other strains are OK with an AACT brew, but not this one! It really is a fantastic plant though. It has a complex smell that changes from nail polish remover to rubber tires with skunky undertones.

Every other plant that I own is doing just fine, then there is this shit! It has challenged me for a while, but I am unsure if I want to let it go because it is great!? You can see the healthy plant to the right of it

How was the smoke and Flavor of this strain? and how many days from seed?
Hello mate, sorry I not been on the forum for a while, busy moving house etc. Yer this weed was pretty decent. Earthy but sweet flavour, which makes a change coming from hydro medium. I left her vegging a little longer than norm under a CFL to get the roots really pumping so hard to say how long it takes as a strain from seed.

Didn't use dutch pro, but she is a tough one to get going and really ease your PPM's up gradually and note the update and change in the PPM. Found less is more if your growing hydro also.

That is really cool bro! Nice to know inspired something haha got a journal going on? I need to get inspired myself! I am just getting settled in a new country (new job thought fuck it) and have to get a setup going from scratch again... I think I will be going for a bit more elegance in the setup this time around equipment wise and managed to swing by the UK and get some PROPER cheese seeds on my travels.... So maybe I will have something new rolling in the next 4 weeks on here. Just feel like a noob again with equipment, been a while since I purchased a job lot from scratch hahaha

Cool man, yer its hard to process all the information when you have never done it or are new to it. It will get better as you work with it more. I still make mistakes and Iv been using them for years lol Will check your thread!

I am just planning out my spaces at the moment. Im gonna put my carpentry skills to the test because I need to be going a lot more stealth this time. Will start on the weekend with a veg box and CFL to get the cheese going and find the best genetics while I prep the flowering wardrobe - which of course will be a water farm :)

I had to pretty much throw everything I had learned out the window ,get a ppm. meter & keep watering down my nutes until the ppm. levels where right looking back it all seems simple but at the time I thought the mutated leaves were caused by other things but it really is true less is more

Haha yep its actually really simple once you know the score. I find it actually less of a headache than say growing in soil and using tonnes of different nutrients or complexed hydroponic methods like NFT (which iv had some of the nicest shit off to be fair) .

Anyway kinda up and running again, couldn't be arsed with hunting down a female right now out of the selection of cheese seeds my friend gave me.... Kinda wanna get sorted in 3 months as buying again sucks and is hurting my income lol So I have gone for a a strain that is notorious amongst my circle of grower mates: Big Budha Cheesus. I might kick off a journal for it in a few weeks just gotta be sure its cool. Happy days.

Yer mate word.

Well this is far as Iv got ( lol )

closet.jpg

I will finish up on the weekend just need to get some more cuts and mylar to cover the inside after a thin layer of insulation. Iv forked out on most of the equipment so the project should be fairly straightforward. As said my setup is a little more elegant this time, mostly for stealth. Il be running:

105w i think CFL for seedling stage
400W phillips son t plus in an A-Wing for veg and flowering
6" S&P TD Silent extractor fan (passive intake with grills screwed around the bottom
6" 550m3 Phresh carbon filter
Oscillating clip fan pointed at light
Dehumidifier
RO filter

With the extraction at around 20-30db in noise and insulation in the cab and acoustic treatment 2m squared on my ceiling above the cab, I should be pretty stealth and have things pretty sweet grow conditions wise. Popping the cheesus on the weekend once I have my osmosis installed. Happy days.

Nice. I am only waiting on the extractor to arrive now. I went for the 125mm S & P TD Silent in the end and using a reductor from the 6" filter. It saved another 60 euros or so and I am hoping to have less air movement noise but still efficient extraction. Especially with the filter over kill and bigger in size which will also stop the fan working so hard (their fucking expensive lol) and allow more pull. I am not dealing with the temperatures I was last time. I will need to get a de humidifier I expect though but bit low on space in the cab haha Not sure if a small portable one would do anything?

What clone you getting?
