Looks good, I like it and Im all about finding cheap ways to do things. Im guessing the top just floats on top of the water? If so what you made is called a raft rooter http://raftrooter.com/ I saw a similar one made with a kitty litter box and the polystyrene just cut to fit that. What did you mean when you said the pics didn't make it for you? Were you not able to see them or did you not really like the cloner? Anyways good luck I hope you see some roots soon.
Hey Nick, I can't see the pictures all just boxes w/ red x's . Raft Rooter huh? lol Mine didn't cost $119. though more like $18. That is for the pump, stones, and collars too. I got the idea from a Breedbay thread. The foam just floats around over the bubbles and under each neopreme collar is a small air pocket of fresh bubbles. Ya never have to worry about the water level and they are easy to pull to check or rearrange.
I got 50 clones going now in two tubs. All the tops but the Violator Kush and assorted cuttings of Jack The Ripper, Dairy Queen, Papaya, Bubblelicious (one really has that pink bubblegum smell to it), CinJack, Sleestack x Skunk, and Violator Kush.
Hopefully these root alright and I can get another 50 in a couple weeks. That should have me right on schedule.

i hope i'll do ok when i do my clone's i've nvr cloned before so idk how it's gonna go ima do the HIGHTIMES method i was telliing you about (hopefully it'll workout if it don't ima be a mad mofo). i've been promised cheese,super lemon haze, trainwreck, White Widow, and i think white rhino not sure it may be something else it'll be awhile though. i've got 2 WW's germing now but the White Widow i was promised cutting's off of is a nirvana strain so i want them lol idc about the rest all i really really want is the cheese and the trainwreck that slh will be nice too, only thing is he only has 1 seed of all those (FREEBIES) there feminised so hope it all goes to plan. say a prayer for me lol. when it let's me ima send u some rep man i really like that cloner dude but i'm scared of any water based growing that's why i do just soil but i may think about doin a cloner like that idk for sure yet though well play it by ear or by eye lol

Nothing else right now from seed. I'm gonna have my hands full with cloning for a while. I might start some seeds after spring is finally here. ha, if ever!
But took my first cuttings this morning. pics coming...
I took a sheet of 3/4" polystyrene I had around and a 1.5" holesaw blade and 12" stiff wire.
I just measured off half of what I needed and bent the wire, scratched a pattern through the foil for my blade to follow.
Then the holesaw. I just eyeballed it but if you wanted to lay out a pattern just as well. No drill, just a couple twists of the wrist and pop it out.
After I had all the holes cut I cut around the outside and smoothed it all up by hand.
pop in the plugs and it took me longer to put it on here than it took me to make it. hahaha
So that's how I got into aeroponics.
That brought the canopy down some and when I fill up this next 16 it will even them on out.

You are going to have a massive outdoor grow this year I can't wait to see it. I have the pics of my cloner in my album so if you want to check it out you can just look there, I dont want to take up more space in your thread. Remember you should put your clones outdoors later than seedlings because they can start to flower if you put them out to early and it can stunt them and cause irregular growth.

Thanks Nick, Yeah I need to get out and see some of you guys stuff. I've been so busy lately. This little project is starting to take a bit more too. ha Massive? lol, this is just getting started. I let most of those moms go to 12 nodes so they are loaded with clones.
Yeah, I'm gonna try to set them out late enough and with the light hrs trimmed back to sync them up some. Those Papaya sure flowered fast when I cut them back during sexing. Thanks for the support.

So here's a peek around this morning. A little droop from the full strength feeding yesterday. But doing pretty well seeing they just gave up clones, got topped, and fed. "If they cain't take it, they cain't stay!"
The clones are perking up.
Not one to waste anything, I had an extra cutting when I ran out of collars.
The Violator Kush mom is the only one that hasn't been topped.

I liked the JS2 plant the best for structure and bud formation. The high was about the same for me for JS1-JS3. JS1 was the shortest, JS2 was the tallest and best structured, JS3 had the highest leaf to bud ratio but had hugh tight buds and was short like JS1. Lets see what you get cowboy.

Took care of transplanting the Jack's High and was looking at these Jack The Rippers that are just loaded down with clones.
#1 is a short bushy gal with that strong lemony smell
#2 is a little taller but still short and bushy smells more like juicy stripe gum.
my #3 JTR is a tall bitch with long internodal spacing. Not much smell yet.
So I took 25 cuttings from the three of them today. I have them in Rapid Rooters in the humidity dome.
That cleaned up the JTR mom's a little, until next time.
Bed check...
Now clean up this little mess and get back on the couch.

Hey slab I know you got a lot of strains going but I figured I would give you a heads up that Dr. Greenthumb is giving away seeds of a new strain he is doing and I figured it would be nice for him to have a report from a guerrilla grower. So I thought of you and since you got all the other strains going you can give an honest report. All he asks is that you keep an up to date journal and do a smoke report in the end. I don't really know except the diff phenos could have slight variations. The two short bushy ones are very similar though but that taller one is looking different. We'll see.
