Slackness when harvesting

Hello all,

looking for bit of advice. When Harvesting I was under a bit of time pressure and did not trim all the leaves off the buds. Got rid of most of the fan leaves, definitely the big ones but left a few and left the leaves that poke out of the tight buds.

The plan is over the next week or two of drying to go through the lot and trim as best I can.

Have I made a newbie mistake? Am I okay to trim the leaves at a later stage, like before they are due to go into curing.

Thanks

once the leaves dry they are really hard to trim off. They dry out and curl and will just crumble when you try to remove them. Finish the job right or else the bud will smoke like shit.

You can trim the little leaves when ever you want. It is harder when they dry....just ends up being a stickier mess. But your smoke will be fine.

I usually trim all big fan leaves right before I hang dry. When they are about 60% dry I trim the remaining leaves and then stick the buds n a brown paper bag.

You'll be fine

Thanks for the advice - will get to work when free time allows and my general lethargy wears off ;-)

Cheers
