Well, this is my first grow.
I get home on Saturday where my precious seeds await! I couldn't resist starting my thread now because you RIUers are a Fountain of Knowledge!
Here's how it's going to be

A cheap, fast flowering, mostly indicia cross which I believe to be White Widow x KC 606

I'll be building a space with 4x4s and plywood and/or drywall depending on how much plywood I have. This is a budget grow by the way, so I tried to find everything as cheap as possible

I found a sweet thermally protected, 300 cfm axial fan designed for use on huge computers. $15 on ebay, $100 retail. Heat shouldn't matter too much because of the place I'm growing. I'll build some ducting and a CAF when the girlies get older and start stinking

I have a 400w HPS and a 175w MH that I got for a total of $40. The MH was a street lamp at one point, so it used to be attatched to a photo cell. I had to mess around with the wiring a bit to get it to work. The HPS came as a huge bell shaped shop light with a smallish reflector (I think it might be dimpled, I don't really remember
) surounding the empty socket. I pulled out the guts and am going to scrap the unweildly housing. I went to lowes and picked up a 400w HPS bulb for $20, stripped the wires and hooked them up to a grounded power cable for an old computer. Transformer makes noise, but no light. Chances are the transformer is busted, I'll have to go to Worm's Way and get a new one for $50. There's a light I've had my eye on that's attatched to a tree around her and hasn't been used for years, I might just snag that.

Since I recently spent all my money on grow supplies, a close buddy of mine is pitching in $100 for more supplies and we'll smoke any surplus. I'll get some Foxfarm ocean forest, probably some buckets from wally world, but I kinda hate that place, I ordered some Advanced Nutrients Bud Blood from the internet for $20, and i'll probs get some earth juice nutes.
