SLH Round 2! 400w MH/HPS

My last "journal entry" was completed in the plant problems section....I just finished out the thread after posting an issue there. I feel like I will have better luck if I start the journey here.

The last grow was 2 plants in a wardrobe (both SLH) under 250w in a cool tube. I had some troubles before discovering my tap water was no good. This grow I am ironing out the wrinkles and have made some upgrades. I've moving from 2 gal to 4 gal pots. I will be vegging bigger. I will be using FFOF again along with their nute line up. I'm also upgrading to 400w. Once again 2 plants, wardrobe, cool tube.

The beans have popped and are now waiting to break ground. For veg I have a 400w MH agromax 6500k bulb.

And it begins...

i am able to get some SLH clones, i have been going back and forth with it i think i might get them, how did you like the smoke from the first batch if you dont mind me asking?

The smoke was good, but not cannibis cup OMG 2 time winner ultimate MJ. Part of the reason I am growing it again is 1) I got double the seeds I ordered on accident 2) I want to vette out how much of the outcome was me making a couple of mistakes or is the marketing hype better than the genetics

From what I've read, there are quite a few phenos. If you peruse through the link on my last grow, you can see by apprearance at least, 1 plant exhibited more sativa influence (like attitude pic) while the other exhibited more indica traits (avatar to the left with a lil purple in it). The buzz on em is a little different as well. I'm curious to see what I will get here

Firstly super lemon haze is the shit, I grew 2 SLH plants in my first grow under a 400W MH/HPS in a wardrobe of very similar dimensions to yours. The bud came out 8.5/10 I'd say, not quite 10/10 like I had at the greenhouse last year. Have a look at my journal in my sig if you want to see roughly what to expect under a 400W. Think I ended up with 2 pheno's. Ended up with 1 MASSIVE cola on each (both had mould issues due to a lack of fresh air reaching the middle of them), and when I grow her again I will almost defiantly top her. I suggest you do, even if height isn't an issue, as with 2 cola's your probably in with less of a chance of mould growing inside them due to their size. Also I'm sure u'll end up with more bud! I made loads of mistakes too and really want to grow this again to it's full potential. Consider me subb'd

Sub up! Yours looked better than mine in terms of weight, so I'm looking foward to upgrading to 400w, bigger pots ect. I got real chicken about the stretch last time. I think I'm going to let them get a little bigger this round.

Picture 215.jpgPicture 216.jpgPicture 029.jpgPicture 033.jpgPicture 036.jpgafter a few grows of slh under my belt im a fan of the stuff just finished querkle as well & im fixing to start 3 slh & 3 killing fields under 1000w. hps with a homemade 3x3 tub i had 3 phenos out of a 10-pack of seeds slh may not be best in world but its pretty good & can be very rewarding mine was hydro but a friend did his in the ffof stuff with good results i enjoyed growing the stuff & here are pics of some of my highlights growing it i did have minor issues with bud-rot due to the size & density of my buds & the humidity of where i live good luck with your grow

Those are nice. I don't like a bush with 20 small tops, but I will go for 4-6 tops to distribute the bud more to help with potential mold. I have also been keeping a couple of damp rids in the box during flower to help with the humidity.

I plan to put fresh pics up once a week, barring anything out of the ordinary occurring. This week was a little slow, but hopefully we are starting to get some growth going here. I can't tell what is going on with the plant on the left...if it is a different pheno or just stunted and kind of fugly. Begins the second week of veg.
