slight case of rot

I went to check the progress of the girls today and noticed one had a small amount of rot on one of the colas.i promptly removed the problem area and noticed they area sticky as a mofo!My question is should i chop the whole plant or let it ride and see if it spreads.They are about a week or two away from prime time.

let it ride, but cut out any bud that already molded. stay vigilante and check them down, get rid of any dead plant matter as that's a main contributor. Ive never seen a plant mold fast enough to result in me cutting it right then. Ive always been able to manage it only having to cut small portions of mold

shake em off after the rain, I thought I had a little bud rot but it turned out to be insect eggs, so I only removed the contaminated part, happy harvest!
