Slight slight mold

i have this bag that was a little moist still and i let it sit realizing i should dry it but not wanting to lose wight. foolishly. i cought it hopefully just in time, happened overnight. there are only certain buds with only a tiny bit of that bluish powder mold. most of the buds are fine, and smell mostly fine. although there is that slight ammonia smell . they seem mostly fine and most buds are untouched. im just wondering what the worst that could happen would be from a very minute amount of mold.

You should break them open and look inside also.. I had about 2 oz's of purp mold on me.. I caught it at first like you did, but then it spread again to all the other buds. so i just had to throw it all away.. and i had some hashberry mold also.. It will cause headaches when you smoke it... but if you dont care what ppl say, then by all means.. get rid of that shit..lol

i looked in the inside of the buds most are fine and still realease a beatiful smell. a have them all layed out in the open getting nice and dry. hopefully it wont spread anymore.

I have heard that you can dip it in it hydrogen peroxide and then let it dry. This might effect the potency but its better than losing it all.

the mold is so very slight that i wouldnt even want to. im just tryin to make sure there isnt some really fucked up shit that can happen if i smoke some.

i heard you could use lemon juice by sprinkling it on to the mold and letting it set. I DO NOT know if this works as I have never tried it.

Well you could use orange peels or lemon juice or what ever if you want to change the smell a bit.. ya know the buds that smell moldy.. the orange peels also help put a little spring back in the buds since youre drying them out... well since you wanna keep it, just try it out.. if it starts giving you a headache.. get rid of it.

i heard this story about "brain worms" today. wasn't from smoking mold though. i'd trim away any affected areas and thoroughly dry the rest.

can the mold hurt you? i got a very damp bag the other day.. i like my shit moist so i left it all sealed up and everytime i took some out to pack up the bowl i sealed it quickly. now there is white power in some spots. and i did notice some shitty headaches .. thought i got a stem in there or something. nothing inside the buds... should i just toss the white powdery parts?

weird that i had never heard of this before

i sprayed it with hydrogen peroxide like a couple people suggested, and let it dry and it seemed better, then i repeated the process and im letting it dry. the thing is most of the buds arent affected visibly at all.. but its possible that mycellium spreads throughtout the whole bag before patches of mold come. i hope not, and i think the mycellium would be visible. whats the word gang.

it takes weeks for mycellium to spread through a whole bag or container so that shouldnt be a problem i wouldnt spray any more so you dont lose to much potency
